Seriously? You make Coke the closer when you have 6 good, healthy starters? You also think Coke is the best guy we have, since when you build a bullpen, you save the best for last?

We should have Phil Hughes killed and harvest his organs to use to help fix IPK's aneurysm.

He's obviously worthless, but maybe he can help salvage somebody else.

Believe I saw "an unnamed Yankee source" in some article say something along the lines of "Joba would only be in the pen if we need a closer", but that's barely hearsay.

They'd either make a trade or do it by committee until someone forced their hand.

Excellent question in a hypothetical case. I want Chamberlain to start too, but if Mo were done or ineffective I would want Joba as closer. Others here have proposed Melancon and others but I don't think anyone else in the Yankee orgainzation is ready to take for Mo - Not even Bruney. Let's just hope that Mo returns to form. I think he will.

Man. What a horrible day for my nephew.

First he loses an entire slice of his manhood while everyone stands and watches and shouts MAZEL TOV, and now this!

Or tell Boras to demand $300 million for Strasburg. Then he falls. We draft him. He closes. Simple.

With this anemic offense? I can’t imagine them scoring more than a couple.

The Yankees are 5th in the majors in runs scored.
