That said, tonight Papelbon did it upon closing the game and saving the win (that he nearly blew) The other night, Joba was doing it for a normal strikeout during the course of the game, while he trailed and was later tagged for a loss. Again, they both look like douchebags when they do it, but I think one of them looked a little worse. Yes, I am biased, but if I had my preference, they'd both have a little more control over their emotions and not show up their opponents. Someday, somebody they've "fist pumped" will hit a dinger to win a game against them and just stand there and watch it for like 45 seconds. These things have a way of evening themselves out... They both look like douchebags when they do it….
