  1. Bill R says:

This is the most frustrating game ever!!!

  2. Tom Zig says:

I wonder if A-rod is suffering from the “I’m a slow starter” syndrome right now.

    • Zach says:

or maybe “I still need secondary surgery on my hip but thanks for being aware of the situation”

  3. Double T says:

I’m already grinding my teeth and it’s the 3rd inning c’mon guys!

  4. John says:

well, CC didnt get that called strike 3 to Alex once yet in Gameday…BULLSHIT!

  5. So, leadoff man on each inning and no runs. Awesome.

  6. Slu says:

    Penny gets that call.

  7. Jay J says:

Does anyone think umpires should be evaluated, and penalized for a certain amount of missed or bad calls? You know the Yankees will be back to winning 100 games if so.

  8. Double T says:

It seems the umpire has to really think about the Yankee strikezone or lack thereof and it’s like a automatic strike for the Sawx.

  9. The bats will wake up before the 7th inning. 0-0

  10. Lily says:

this is the most frustrating team ever! with the calls the ump is giving penny and the calls he isn’t giving sabathia i don’t see how the yankees are going to win this game.

  11. Accent Shallow says:

Things I’ll never get tired of seeing: Pedroia failing.

  12. Dorian says:

On a 2-3 count C.C induces pop up

  13. Jay J says:

I’ve always been a fan of CC, i watched a lot of games he pitched last year, you can tell he is frustrated at not getting calls he was last year… and it’s all because he’s a yankee.

    • RichYF says:

Alright, the ump hasn’t been great but give me a break.

It’s not like he’s calling pitches in the other batter’s box a strike for Penny and calling pitches on the plate a ball for CC.

It’s just the BORDERLINE calls that CC isn’t getting. He’ll be fine. He’s a big boy. He’s pitching well. Penny is getting by on bullshit. We’ll punish him soon enough.

  14. Hova says:

Fellas, the boys are 2 for 21 with RISP in this series. This is nuts. We were on fire on the way into this series. This has to be mental right? What the hell is going on.

  15. Dorian says:

2 stories like that and we think baseball matters that much.

  16. Accent Shallow says:

How does a show involving Joe Buck get a tagline with the words “fresh” and “new” involved?

  17. Double T says:

finally we got a call go our way!

  18. John says:

gotta give props to CC for hanging in there while being squeezed

  19. Finally got a damn call.

  20. Dorian says:

    HALLE-FUCKING-LUJAH

  21. Jay J says:

Didnt get that call earlier, crew chief yell at the ump over the break?

  22. Raf says:

good job CC. get that zone working for you too

  23. Jay J says:

    CC!!!!!! YOU ARE MY DUDE!!!

  24. Tank the Frank says:

I just thought I saw Youkilis shed a tear.

  25. e mills says:

I don’t know if this makes much sense, but why not try batting A-Rod before Tex just to try and get him rolling and then switch back to the normal order…

    • John says:

nah, dont wanna mess with what Tex has going. A-rod will get through it, he is a good hitter…that BABIP correction still hasn’t kicked in yet.

  26. Double T says:

Of course Puke will complain everyone knows he has PERFECT recognition of the strike zone. He is a Red Sox after all and they practice that in spring training.

  27. Dorian says:

Give Carsten an Effing lead and this game is over.

  28. dkidd says:

enjoy racism and freezing rain in june? come to massachusetts!

  29. Jay J says:

its about this time of the year, CC gets the stone cold killer look in his eyes.

  30. Jobamania says:

are you guys really surprised? I saw penny dominating us from a mile away

  31. Tank the Frank says:

Hey at least we’re winning the CT Lottery drawing against the Red Sox. That’s way more important IMO.

  32. Raf says:

Penny isnt getting that 100 tonight

  33. Jobamania says:

    Cano is really agitating me

  34. Accent Shallow says:

That ball looked well struck. So it goes.

  35. Manimal says:

49 pitches through 3 is alot, but he could still go a solid 7 innings.

  36. bryanh says:

for being employed by the Yankee owned tv network flaherty has gotta be the biggest redsox asskisser going.

  37. pc69 says:

    Cano is NOT a #5 hitter…

    • Raf says:

yea its time for him to flip with Posada. Girardi likes the alternating lineup but Cano is slumping big and Arod can be pitched around

      • RichYF says:

Yeah, but what about when Jorge has a day off?

Swisher? Melky? Matsui? Swisher is hitting the best out of that group and I don’t have much faith in him right now to be honest..

  38. John says:

damn, the Yanks have had only one groundout all game

  39. RichYF says:

OMG A BORDERLINE CALL WENT AGAINST THE SOX!!! THE UMPS ARE TOTALLY OUT TO GET THE YANKS!!!!

  40. Jay J says:

Penny didnt get that call, and that was closer than the 10 he got before… this looks better.

  41. Dorian says:

Later in the season we will laugh about Swish’s ridiculous baserunning gaffes. But tonight that shit is not funny at all.

  42. Dorian says:

When does Swish have a bad AB?

  43. Jay J says:

I’m used to them making fun of Kay’s head while we’re winning, while losing… it’s not as funny.

  44. Accent Shallow says:

Seeing as how the Red Sox would like you to think that they’ve never taken a legitimate strike 3, I have to think that whining at the ump is an organizational strategy, with the goal of convincing the umps to give them more borderline pitches.

    • Double T says:

      +1

    • John says:

yea, it puts fear into the umps but if the yanks ever even hint at complaining, they will get squeezed even more next time.

    • Tank the Frank says:

The Yanks have the same strategy. Other team’s fans think we get all the calls b/c we’re the Yankees, believe it or not. Have you ever seen Jeter strike out looking?

      • Accent Shallow says:

Everyone complains from time to time, just everyone on the Sox does it, every single time. Maybe they don’t do it when they’re playing other teams?

    • Whitey14 says:

Yes, because everybody knows that the more you complain to the umpires the more calls you get ;-)

      • Accent Shallow says:

See, this is the part I can’t figure out — either it’s an organizational strategy, or the team happens to employ a lot of talented crybabies.

      • Lanny says:

Its an ump conspiracy. Them and ESPN are at it again, huh???

  45. Double T says:

    standing O for Pedroia

  46. dkidd says:

    grit gem!

  47. Tom Zig says:

How does such a small guy have so much range?

  48. Everyone’s fawning over that play by Pedroia but throwing that ball was a bad choice.

  49. yankeegirl49 says:

Brad freakin Penny? Really??? Brad Penny?? WTF??????????

  50. Jay J says:

seems he has range, but playing that far back and close to the bag…

  51. Awful camerawork by YES there.

  52. Zach says:

    great range by green

  53. BigBlueAL says:

Big at-bat now……and its Cervelli up.

  54. RichYF says:

That looked exactly like the “base hit” that the Sox got vs. Wanger yesterday.

  55. Jobamania says:

I vote for trying Cano in the 2 hole again, the day he was in the 2 hole he had a HUGE game.

    Jeter
    Cano
    Damon
    Teix
    Arod
    Posada
    Matsui
    Swisher
    Cabrera

  56. dkidd says:

    lowell is a statue

  57. John says:

    cmon frankie

  58. Ivan says:

Come on Cevelli, get the big hit.

  59. Mike Axisa says:

    Work that count Cervelli.

  60. Dela D says:

Man we are finally getting things going!

  61. Accent Shallow says:

Live by the soft ground ball, die by the soft ground ball.

  62. Jay J says:

    Red Sox to do List.

    1. Get Lucky
    2. Be Racist
    3. Cry to the umps for 100 years

  63. dkidd says:

if lowell and matsui collided, they would both shatter like SLJ in unbreakable

  64. This game is so much more frustrating than last night’s or the game against Bekcett.

  65. Lily says:

five hits runners in scoring position and we can’t score. thats how you know we’re going to lose. when you can’t do things to get a win your not going to win.

  66. Dela G says:

    unbelievable

  67. Ivan says:

2 for 22 in RISP. That’s not possible with this offense.

  68. Tom Zig says:

    New rule:

The Yankees are allowed to pinch run any player they want with Brett Gardner as many times as they want, as long as that player is on first.

It would eliminate our lack of hitting with RISP and we’d still score plenty of runs.

    • Jobamania says:

All we do is pinch run Gardner who doesn’t steal.
      stupid

      • JobaWockeeZ says:

Oh come on really this is tiring already. I’d rather have Gardner not stealing replacing Matsui and Jorge in the basepath. I forget who he took over but I really don’t care unless it was another DP.

        • Jobamania says:

          He pinch ran for swisher.

Like swisher couldn’t have advanced to second on bunt? get real

  69. Jay J says:

look at the free hit wall out there… it’s so big… just dont hit it with a ball.

  70. Dela G says:

we should be owning this clown of a pitcher, not helping him out

  71. Jobamania says:

All we’re doing is driving up Penny’s trade value

    • Tank the Frank says:

To be fair, Penny has looked good tonight. Good live fastball, locating it well, good curve and splitter.

That’s just how it’s been against the Sox this year.

  72. BklynJT says:

On top of that we gave up a hr to Ortiz… Can the day get any worse

  73. Lily says:

    how bout cano

  74. Raf says:

    nice play robbie

  75. giselle says:

Cano to Pedroia: That’s how you do it, kid.

  76. Jay J says:

    Cano’s Range > Pedroia’s safety Range

  77. RichYF says:

That goddamned lazy Dominican. I KNEW we should have traded him during the offseason…

  78. dkidd says:

    he’s like a lazy pedroia

  79. Tom Zig says:

    Cano flashing some leather

  80. John says:

    beat that PEDroia

  81. BigBlueAL says:

Nice play by Cano, but he reminds me alot of Jeter in terms of both seem to have MUCH better range to their backhand side than their glove side which is not the norm.

    • Accent Shallow says:

If he could take a walk every once in awhile, he’d be a lefty-hitting Jeter, practically.

  82. BklynJT says:

but but but robbie’s lazy and shouldn’t he be bringing his slump out to the field on defense!!

  83. Manimal says:

Because of this series, I’m running out of nails to bite.

  84. Double T says:

CC is starting to heat up he will hold us down.

  85. Nick L says:

I thought Robbie didn’t dive for balls, at least that’s what Mike Francesca said today

  86. Jay J says:

There ya go One-Nut, look stupid like u always should.

  87. Dela G says:

good lord, CC is mowing everyone down

  88. Accent Shallow says:

Here’s hoping that whatever Wang is drinking is full of steroids.

    Or “throw quality strikes” juice

  89. Raf says:

i read someone last night say that the Yankees didnt have Wang working his legs out this offseason because of his injury. was that actually true?

  90. BigBlueAL says:

Look at those numbers for Papi, why am I not surprised.

  91. Jamal G. says:

Best velocity of the year for CC – he’s touching 97-98 MPH.

  92. BklynJT says:

The Yankees are PEDS to Ortiz

  93. Lanny says:

Still a brilliant decision to have Berroa on the roster. Why not a 3rd catcher so Posada could DH everytime he doesn’t start? But hey thats actually thinking for Yankee Front Office types.

  94. Jay J says:

wang is drinking, Unleash Hughes Juice

  95. RichYF says:

That just made me giggle so much.

  96. Tom Zig says:

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME

  97. pat says:

    hahaha too funny

  98. Raf says:

    oh WTF

  99. Are you fuckin’ kidding me?

  100. Jobamania says:

    wow, are you kidding me

  101. Double T says:

    wow

  102. JobaWockeeZ says:

    …COME ON.

  103. A.D. says:

    Jesus

  104. mustang says:

    This is just funny now.

  105. Tank the Frank says:

You know what…. I’ve officially seen enough. We’re a fucking little league team out there. I hope eating pies at kangaroo court was fun.

  106. Jay J says:

Damon… you want to stay a yankee, and you… are replaceable.

  107. Double T says:

He didn’t lose it in the lights you mlb network idiots he just flat out dropped the ball.

  108. Nick L says:

    Aww man that sucks

  109. Dela G says:

    wtf damon….

  110. Dorian says:

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST CATCH THE DAM BALL.

  111. Hova says:

Yup, its mental. This fcuking Red Sox team is in our head. This is ridiculous. Bad pitching, bad hitting and now bad fielding? You gotta be kidding me.

  112. Zach says:

David Ortiz’s greatness made Damon drop it, standing ovation!

  113. Longo says:

and ortiz’s fat ass only ends up on first- great job outa PAPIIII

  114. A.D. says:

Do the Yanks lead the league in runners stranded?

  115. pc69 says:

The fundamentals of baseball still missing from the Yankees. That is just NOT acceptable.

    • Dela G says:

dude they had the longest errorless streak in the histroy of baseball… they will be ok defensively

      • pc69 says:

I realize that but it means nothing when they have had at least 1 error every game since and stupid mental errors like getting doubled off second.

  116. Jay J says:

Well, this is what the Red Sox need to win. Can;t win a good game, need errors and luck.

  117. John says:

    wow make CC waste pitches

  118. yankeegirl49 says:

unreal..just unreal. This team is like a really bad B horror movie right now.

  119. Accent Shallow says:

At least the D picked up Johnny there.

  120. Mike Axisa says:

Lucky, CC only had to throw three extra pitches.

  121. Jake H says:

Does this team have no focus?

  122. JobaWockeeZ says:

    DFA Damon?

  123. giselle says:

only at fenway. the red sox really do get into the yankees’ heads. how else would you explain a good team losing to a bunch of scrubs?

  124. BigBlueAL says:

Top of the order up for the Yankees, if not now than when damnit!!

  125. Double T says:

2 extra pitches guys no big deal, we will score some runs this inning.

  126. Dorian says:

I hate everytime Fatcessa talks about the Sox bein in our heads but with some of the things that are happening, do you give it SOME credence?

  127. BklynJT says:

Imagine if the Yankees go from the longest errorless streak to the longest error streak.

  128. Jay J says:

i think Girardi needs to start benching players, embarass someone… other teams do it.

  129. RichYF says:

These Yanks-Sox series really up the QQ factor in the comments section of game threads…

  130. John says:

im actually surprised that didn’t come back to haunt us

  131. Jobamania says:

Girardi should bench himself first and foremost

  132. pc69 says:

I think Girardi should start fining guys $5000 for every fundamental lapse they make. Not errors but stupid shit like Damon’s drop or Swisher getting doubled off or guys giving up and running to first like Steroitiz!

  133. DGeezy says:

we’ve played bad defense, had errors on the basepaths, had horrendous pitching & poor hitting with RISP. just ONE of these could cost us a game especially against the red sox but in this series we’ve done NOTHING RIGHT

  134. BigBlueAL says:

How bad are the White Sox that Podsednik is their starting CF now.

  135. Nick L says:

its still 1-0, lets get some runs here.

  136. dkidd says:

    jeter’s getting on

  137. teix is the man says:

Penny kinda looks like Kevin from The Office

  138. Jeter’s timing is off. He’s fouling off many good pitches to hit he’s seen this series.

  139. Jobamania says:

i’m sick and tired of seeing groundballs or lazy flyballs.

  140. Hova says:

Zach, your optimism is greatly appreciated. But seriously, you need to take your tongue out of the Yankees ass and stop defending every single thing they do wrong or make excuses for everything. Its ok to be critical and a realist. That doesn’t automatically mean you’re a Yankee hater or a pessimist. And it also doesn’t make you their greatest fan for trying to defend everything.

    • Zach says:

I like your mature response to my optimism.

But oohh no the red sox are in their heads!!! we’re never going to win ever!1! ahhh we’re screwed

      • Hova says:

No one said that. But I read through each one of your comments, and all you do is follow up with some smart-ass pseudo optimistic comment. Maybe you’re trying to impress everyone on the thread about what a super-fan you are.

I just have to let you know that the Yankees aren’t going to hire you or send you a gold star for defending everything they do wrong or providing sarcastic comments to other people’s posts. If you thought they were going to send you something, I’m sorry I had to break the news to you.

        • Zach says:

Do you see the posts I comment on? People flipping out because ball 1, people flipping out because red sox are in their heads, people flipping out because this team has no heart, etc.

its total bullshit, so instead of talking shit to me watch the game and have a rational conversation about the game not stupid ass comments people make

          • Hova says:

I could see the Phillies trading for Penny if they can’t get Peavy or Oswalt. They desperately need another starting pitcher and will be neck and neck with that Mets team til the end of the season.

    • John says:

I criticize a bit while being optimistic

  141. John says:

we will bring the winning run to the plate!

  142. BklynJT says:

Damon usually makes up for his mistakes

  143. Jay J says:

thats how u make up for it Johnny.

  144. Reggie C. says:

I’m in awe of the Mets. How did that hack lineup beat the RS??

  145. Dela G says:

i am predicting the yankees have a huge 5th or 6th inning

  146. pc69 says:

5 hit shutout by Fat Penny. Sad.

  147. I love the 94 MPH breaking ball.

  148. Raf says:

Penny’s trade value is going through the roof tonight.

    • Zach says:

no its not, he’s a 5th starter- what team looking to make the playoffs is going to give up something for penny?

  149. Lily says:

we can’t score against penny is this team serious?????

  150. Tank the Frank says:

This is just an example of a gritty, gutty, under the radar, low risk – high reward signing beating out the Yankees overpriced free agents.

    /ESPNd

  151. Jay J says:

Yankees good inning is the 7th inning. All im lookin forward to right now… unless Tex or A-Rod Bomb one!!

  152. BigBlueAL says:

Penny in line to start the All-Star Game. If not him than Wakefield for sure.

    • Reggie C. says:

Theo is going to squeeze this performance for every last drop of leverage to trade Penny for a big hitter.

      • Zach says:

I hope thats sarcasm, I’m sure a lot of GMs are lining up to give any a big hitter for Brad Penny

    • Tank the Frank says:

Buchholz should be in the All-Star game based on his minor league numbers and his no-hitter two years ago.

  153. Jobamania says:

this is just sad, i can already view the NY post headlines in my head.

C.C. BUST, ORTIZ TORMENTS THE YANKEES AGAIN.

YANKEES WHO? RED SOX NATION SWEEPS THE YANKEES OUT OF TOWN

  154. pc69 says:

Kay cracks me up, “its an official game”, like if fucking matters.

This keeps up the Yankees are going to have to change the bat in their logo to a broom.

    • Jobamania says:

it does matter, RAIN is in the forecast.

    • JobaWockeeZ says:

      It does fucking matter.
If the game rains out we lose without a chance of coming back.

      • pc69 says:

guys, I am not giving up but are you watching the same game that I am watching where CC is pitching well and the Yankees are getting 5 hit shutout by Brad Penny, with no serious threats?

        • handtius says:

No serious threats? they’ve had people on in every inning.

          • pc69 says:

And aside from Jeter going to 3rd in the first inning who else has.

Swisher leads off with a double, Grandpa Matsui walks – next hitter out, then DP

3rd – single, SO, FO, SO
4th – FO, SO, Single, Single (still not at 3rd) GO
            5th – GO, GO, FO

WHERE is the serious threat? that there have been 3 runners total that have made it to second base?

        • John says:

it doesn’t help being 0-6 with RISP

  155. Ivan says:

That’s depressing that the yanks can get SO for 5 innings by Brad Penny. U wanna bet his next start, Penny gives up 7 ER in like 3 innings.

    • JobaWockeeZ says:

We’re not hitting is curve. They’re right down the middle but no one is swinging. Jeter did though.

  156. Jake H says:

Why can’t this team get a hit with risp?

  157. Jake H says:

2 for 22 with risp in the series. That is just pathetic.

  158. Conan says:

Is it me, or do the Yankee bats struggle when CC is on the mound?

  159. YankeeScribe says:

    The Yankees are cursed

  160. Jay J says:

no aggressive swinging. Girardi too busy trying to get a runner on to Bunt.

  161. JobaWockeeZ says:

    Nice DP.

  162. Raf says:

    alright finally a DP.

  163. John says:

Could it be that our bats are trying to do too much by maybe swinging for HRs everytime to get a lead?

It doesn’t help that our pitchers put us in a deep hole (except CC).

  164. Drew says:

    We can’t beat good teams

  165. Jay J says:

    Today’s scapegoat… Suicide squeeze attempt.

  166. Ivan says:

    Nice job Pete Abe:

UPDATE, 8:37 p.m.: Embarrassing moment for Damon there. Too bad he didn’t catch it, Ortiz would have gotten another curtain call for making contact.

  167. Dorian says:

They do the things that are necessary to win. They move the runner over, they make the simple plays, and they fight for each other. They will themselves to victory or they can stay in the game long enough to come back in the end. They can stand a bad start because they have that outstanding bullpen from top to bottom.

    Ravech’d

And ya know jus like ya said they do all the little things. They aren’t the most athletic guys but they play hard everyday. The guys like Youkilis and Pedroia and Varitek set the tone for that team and the rest of the guys follow. They are a well run organization and they show that you don’t need to spend a gazillion dollars to win a championship

  168. JobaWockeeZ says:

    We get a call!

  169. Jobamania says:

    Lol Pedroia crying.

    sit down midget

  170. E-ROC says:

It’s good to see CC get these borderline calls.

  171. e mills says:

let’s get some runs so everyone stops bitching

  172. Jay J says:

    Pedroia… crying again… surprised…

  173. handtius says:

Little Dustin is such a fighter, no strike out is ever a strike out in his mind.

  174. Tom Zig says:

    Sox players complain alot

  175. Jay J says:

thats not borderline, red sox used to watching penny get balls called strikes.

  176. Jay J says:

Kevin Long… does he need a hug.. or a beating?

  177. teix is the man says:

Brad Penny is the epitome of a workhouse…..Unlike the overpaid Sabathia
    -Ravech’d

  178. Jobamania says:

why is flaherty drooling over penny?

    • JobaWockeeZ says:

Drooling? He’s been good. What the hell is he supposed to say, he’s being fair.

    • Zach says:

Because he was the third best free agent signing, trailing only John Smoltz and Rocco Baldelli

      • John says:

        dont forget Saito

      • JobaWockeeZ says:

The Yankees of course rely on high priced free agents that are all busts. I’d rather take Rocco Baldelli, John Smoltz and Brad Penny over CC Sabathia, AJ Burnett and Mark Teixeira any day.

    • handtius says:

So, he’s not being a yankee bias announcer, that make him a drooler.

  179. The Yankees must not be seeing the ball too well out of Penny’s hand ’cause it seems like their timing is really ‘meh’ tonight.

  180. DGeezy says:

arod is killin us, i dont think he has a hit all series

  181. BigBlueAL says:

Arod w/o one fucking hit this series.

  182. Jake H says:

Why do all the Yankees seem to think that they can swing at pitches that are shoulder high?

  183. Jay J says:

standing ovation for Bay. What a genius.

  184. Conan says:

There’s a Cano sighting…go figure, a hit with no men on

  185. Wow, Pedroia didn’t dive for diving’s sake?! Is he okay!?

  186. Jobamania says:

ofcourse cano gets a base hit now

    unreal.

  187. Jay J says:

I’m going to play Enter Sandman repeatedly, until Mo comes into the game…

  188. dkidd says:

come on swish. you’ve taketh away, now giveth

  189. King of Fruitless Hypotheticals says:

    MARK MY WORDS

Yanks bring tying run to the plate tonight.

  190. Matthew says:

I never thought I would see the “Yankees” owned by the Red Sox in my lifetime. It is kinda funny.LOL.

  191. BigBlueAL says:

91 MPH slow curve by Penny.

  192. JobaWockeeZ says:

Someone needs to actually swing the bat.

  193. pat says:

Ah well almost good analysis ken, u were close.

  194. Jobamania says:

    can godzilla come through?

  195. Jay J says:

    thanks Nick.

  196. Andy Stankiewicz says:

Swisher is a bum. Cashman better start working the phone lines for an outfielder asap. Don’t give me that Nady crap either. His next throw in a real game will be his last.

  197. Conan says:

    just a bloop, please

  198. John says:

    cmon Matsui…another RISP opportunity!

  199. JobaWockeeZ says:

This game is so frustrating that I want to see Lanny/Axl/Bo say their comments. They are actually more constructive than some posts I am seeing tonight.

  200. Jay J says:

can’t turn on a brad penny fastball… more annoying than i thought.

  201. pat says:

lets hope they trade penny and smoltz fucking sucks.

  202. JobaWockeeZ says:

Uhm did Sox fans think that was a strikeout already?

  203. Hideki the bucket-stepper.

  204. Why do they cheer foul balls in Boston?

  205. Conan says:

Matsui, please step toward the pitch

  206. Aaaaaaaand here comes the Varitek dick sucking.

  207. Dorian says:

O god. An ode to Varitek.

  208. BigBlueAL says:

Damn Penny dialed up that curve in the dirt to 94 MPH.

  209. Raf says:

    damn so close

  210. Jay J says:

    why can’t we get lucky?

  211. kunaldo says:

this RISP problem boggles my mind…how can we be so bad for so long? last year we were really bad, and this year we’re not doing well…i tend to believe it’s a factor of luck for the most part, that over time your numbers w/ RISP should just about match your career numbers…

but, maybe it is a matter of pressing…

  212. Umm…that bounced over the base. Isn’t that a fair ball?

  213. Jobamania says:

    penny has a big butt

  214. FAIR BALL!!!!!!!!!!! MOTHER FUCKER!!!!

  215. Accent Shallow says:

Another curve at 94. Who does he think he is, Strasburg?

  216. Andy Stankiewicz says:

Wow, Penny just added to the legend that is Theo Epstein. Theo knows that a great pitching,a solid bullpen and grit are the keys to victory.

  217. Jobamania says:

    more strike outs looking

    2-24, what a JOKE

  218. BIG BOY says:

another runner left in scoring position.

  219. Raf says:

shit man. 6 innings of shutout ball by Penny. unbelievable

  220. BigBlueAL says:

    Why am I not surprised.

  221. Jay J says:

thats not high at all. PSYCHE!!

  222. kunaldo says:

    i can’t take this…i really can’t

  223. JobaWockeeZ says:

And Penny is out. We’re scoring 10 runs this inning.
