Game 86: Failifornia

By Mike Axisa

I’m not a fan of west coast games. It’s not that I can’t stay up to watch them or anything like that, it’s just that they give me that same kind of grimy feel I get from long rain delays. Fitting that Joba Chamberlain’s start tonight, he’s been involved in a few of those rain delayed games already this season.

Let’s make it 14 of 16, shall we?

Here’s the lineup:

Jeter, DH
Damon, LF
Teixeira, 1B
A-Rod, 3B
Swisher, RF
Cano, 2B
Cabrera, CF
Ransom, SS
Molina, C

And on the mound, teh Jobber.

Salty Buggah says:

I hope we win again tonight thanks to Joba’s great pitching

CP3 says:

Joba has to be better today.

Little Bill says:

Joba will be better today, guaranteed.

Salty Buggah says:

I hope you are right

Kevin G. says:

Watch the game go into extra innings.

Vlad and Hunter out of the lineup. No excuses.

Did I mention the Angels have one of the worst bullpens in baseball?

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/.....p;type=reg

Steve H says:

As overrated as K-Rod was last year, what a difference between him and Brian “Casey Fossum” Fuentes.

The phrase “no excuses” and “baseball” are mutually exclusive. Crazy shit happens all the time. Unpredictable.

This post is inexcusable. Did you just fly from LA? Or maybe you were working late? Are you sick?

Salty Buggah says:

I recently saw that MLB.com highlights 15 min condensed complete game for some games. Is this for every game or just a select few? I never noticed this before

Joey says:

for MLB.tv subscribers or for everyone? That would be awesome

Troy says:

Better win 2 of 3 in this series.

I like the idea that were finishing up on the West coast before the All Star break. That means no long East-West trip home and hangover from jetlag. Plus it was a relatively short trip from MINN to LAA.

Salty Buggah says:

good point

but don’t we visit Seattle or Oakland again?

Zach says:

Aug 13-19 is Sea and Oak
Sept 18023 is Sea and LAA

two more trips

Zach says:

Zach says:

and they Boston after they return both trips, but they do have an off day inbetween

In mid-August. But there’s a 1:00 start at home before they leave for Seattle, and a day off between OAK and BOS. You can live w/that.

Dayman, fighter of the Nightman says:

I like when the Yankees play on the west coast, finally a normal start time.

Rudolph the rednosed Reindeer says:

normal? o you must live on the west coast

Dayman, fighter of the Nightman says:

Yeah, and it’s nice to not have to follow the game while at work.

Steve H says:

Best. Screen name. Ever.

Ivan says:

Did you guys heard Brandon Jacobs slamming Tony Romo?

Funny cuz, Im not a Romo fan but hey, he’s just as good if not better than Eli.

Rudolph the rednosed Reindeer says:

fuck football. fuck the NFL

Zach says:

Eli’s last 4 games without Plax: 614 yards, 54.6% comp, 2TD, 2INT
so really Jacobs should stay quiet

But… Hakeem Nicks!??!??!??!

Zach says:

ha how could i forget

Stop depressing me. Football season is going to suck unless the Giants’ D just ruins people.

Dela G says:

as a resident of texas and hardcore jets fan

the cowboys can rot in hell

Dayman, fighter of the Nightman says:

Wait, wait, wait. A resident of Texas AND a hardcore Jests fan?

Zach says:

believe he relocated down south

Damn, the Yankees SMOKE LH pitching.

Charlie says:

i expect a nice bounce back for jobber

Dela G says:

Yankees will win

i guarantee it

Drew says:

Dang, just realized CC (the other one) has 44 stolen bases. How awesome would it be to have that.

EB says:

Poor Godzilla, 10/22 in July with 3hrs yet he sits twice in a row…
.984 OPS vs LHP this year too…

Drew says:

it’s his own fault, people need rest and he can’t play the field.

it’s his own fault, people need rest and he can’t play the field no longer has anything that can be medically classified as a “knee”.

Fixed.

Chris says:

It’s amazing how quickly his streak of consecutive games played ended and his durability completely evaporated.

It’s almost as if playing every day causes your body to break down…

Naaaaah….

Zach says:

little harsh to say its his own fault, he just has horrible knees.

Drew says:

True.. You know what I mean, I’m sure Joe would like to play him but he can’t.

Salty Buggah says:

Check this article out: http://www.nydailynews.com/blo.....ees-2.html

It’s amazing that despite those problems, we are where we are and should be better in the 2nd half.

Zach says:

valid points, but i think every team in the league can make a list like that

Dorian says:

I have absolutely no idea why. But I feel like Joba is going to do something really really special.

Dorian says:

No hitter through 7. I’m callin it.

Zach says:

how about he just goes 7? :)

Dorian says:

Why should I lower expectations? I mean he’s only gone 7 once this year. LOL

Mike, still looking for a MLB comp for Montero.

Alls I gots in the last thread was a buncha smart alecky answers from these whippersnappers around here.

I gave one. Ceiling of Miggy Cabrera, probable reach of Jorge.

Yeah, but they’re such different players. Miggy is a bad body/natural born hitter and Posada is fairly athletic, solid-patient bat. Posada’s bread and butter is the fastball and Miggy can drive anything.

Zach says:

“Posada is fairly athletic”
ha that really made me laugh

Does ‘for a catcher’ make you feel any better? We all know he can’t run, but there’s more to athleticism than just running.

Zach says:

At least he’s not a fat bastard like Miggy.

(Comments wont nest below this level)
Zach says:

agreed, sad that a 37 year old catcher is more athletic then cabrera

Dela G says:

maybe a joe mauer without the defense?

that means a mike piazza

Lou Gehrig without the career-shortening terminal illness.

Chris says:

so…. zero games played as C?

Smarty pants!

*shakes fist*

Montero’s comp:

He’s a combination of Jim Thorpe, Jim Brown, John Brown, and John Conner. With a splash of Babe the Blue Ox and Babe Didrickson Zaharias.

Teix is the Man says:

Shit, Boston won…oh well.

Rays are up 6-0.

Salty Buggah says:

From Omar Minaya: “One thing we like about Francoeur is the amount of games that he plays.”

LMAO!

Zach says:

ha i heard that too

cjc says:
Zach says:

he was taking a shot at Church

Every time Francouer’s in the game, they put his name on the scoreboard. That’s how he knows playing in the game is important.

Ivan says:

Well he did Livan cuz he does eat up innings……and burgers…..and fries…….and onion rings………and chicken……and Macaroni and cheese.

Matt-Pitt says:

Haven’t been around for a game thread in awhile. Hope the Yanks keep up their recent surge. Joba should do well tonight, I feel it. Work ahead, pound the zone (not a cue for a “thats what she said”), and mix the pitches… Lets get it.

Stay away.

If we lose tonight, its YOUR fault.

Salty Buggah says:

From ESPN’s fantasy page: “Those darn Yankees have the best batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage in the AL against left-handers, so Saunders has his work cut out for him. The soft-tossing southpaw has allowed a ridiculous 10 home runs in his past five starts, and is just one home run away from matching the 21 he allowed all of last season. There’s a good chance Saunders crosses that threshold on Friday.”

and he has more than a career 7.30 (don’t know the exact numbers) against us

Dela G says:

thats a bad omen

i guess we win by small ball

Salty Buggah says:

* career 7.30 ERA

bicycle boy says:

Molina will GIDP.

Dela G says:

the sun will rise on the east…

VO says:

And the bitchfest will ensue. Cervelli is awesome, Cashman’s a moron, etc.

Luthien says:

Anyone else not able to see the YES feed on MLB.TV? I chose YES but it’s giving me the Angels FSW feed.

Dela G says:

just log out and log back in

i am watching YES just fine

Luthien says:

Just closed IE and cleared all the cookies, cache etc and still no go. Guess I’ll keep tryin

Matt-Pitt says:

You can pick which feed you get. Just guide your mouse over the screen and it will be on the right hand side of the thing that asks if you want to jump or reverse innings.

Luthien says:

Thanx alot. Never noticed that before.

cjc says:

well that was quick

Bam Bam Balboni says:

Jeter = Head Hunter

Drew says:

lol Jetes does not waste time.

Matt-Pitt says:

First pitch base hits are awesome when you hit ‘em.

Funny how that works, huh? Nobody ever complains about it being ‘a bad decision’ when the ball finds a hole.

The fact of the matter is, many’s pitchers have bad numbers on their first pitch. You’d be silly to play into their hands by taking pitches if that’s the case.

Dela G says:

well jeter gets it started correctly

Salty Buggah says:

Jeter, nice start…no DP Damon

Salty Buggah says:

Heh I got this NoMaas (I could’ve gotten it myself but they had it all compiled up) about our offense:

- They’ve closed the gap in run differential versus Boston and Tampa.
- They lead all of baseball in OBP (.358), SLG (.469), and OPS (.827).
- They lead all of baseball in BB (362).
- They are 2nd in the AL/5th in MLB in lowest amount of strikeouts (504).
- They are 5th in the AL/6th in MLB in SB% (79%).
- They are 5th in the AL/8th in MLB in Stolen Bases (61).

Dela G says:

they also lead the AL in runs

Zach says:

lead the majors in runs

Dela G says:

Zach says:

but all the homers!!1!

Salty Buggah says:

The most surprising was the stolen bases considering we have a team that rides scooters around the bases, according to the MSM

Zach says:

average team age of 47.34

Drew says:

Dela G says:

Over/Under: 4.5 times Flaherty says Joba is “proud of his fastball” tonight. I’m going over.

Dela G says:

i like those odds

i’ll put a dime on the over

Dela G says:

lol at booing tex

he was fucking amazing for them

i remember when he hit a grand slam at yankees stadium last year to put the angels up 9-8. The yankees ended up winning 10-9 i believe

Zach says:

LA fans care enough to boo? who knew

Did the microphone just pick up Swisher saying “call me tonight”?

Dela G says:

is jessical biel in the audience?

Salty Buggah says:

If it was her, I’m sure he would have said meet me in the clubhouse NOW

Dela G says:

Drew says:

Heh I don’t think it was him. I heard “hey how you doin, u still got my number? call me up”

Ivan says:

Or maybe guys Saunders was just lucky last year.

cjc says:

A-Rod is awesome.

Drew says:

not the textbook slide! haha good to see Al flashing them wheels again.

Ivan says:

A-Rod has really fallen off the cliff.

Onley’d

How many years left on his contract? He looks like a first baseman.

Drew says:

SWISHAH SUCKS!!!11!

Dela G says:

a-rod is effing clutch

EFFING MOTHER EFFING CLUTCH!!

dkidd says:

love it. bury them!

A-Rod totally can’t run anymore. He’s too slow now.

Steve H says:

1st baseman speed.

Ivan says:

Swisher is the best 4th outfielder in baseball.

ICWUDT…

but I still can’t let the concept gain any traction.

He’s the best 3rd outfielder in baseball.

Yankees_Universe says:

I guess he can still run..did u see that Buster Olney?

Nails Krzyzewski >>>>>>>>>>>>>> The haters

Cokie says:

Maybe Jobber can throw some strikes now.

Oh and Nick Swisher is so bad at getting runners in from third w/less than two outs.

dkidd says:

rainbow wig guy holding john 3:16 sign >>>>>>> scott boros playing with his blackberry

Dorian says:

They are absolutely killing Saunders. Robby crushed that ball.

Dela G says:

SWISHAHOUSE!!!

3-0 YANKEES

WE ARE BEATING THE SNOT OUTTA SAUNDERS!

3 runs

0 outs

Dela G says:

Steve H says:

Michael Vick did about 24x more prison time than Donte Stallworth. I think Vick needed a better lawyer.

Dela G says:

in this country

dogs>>>>>>>humans

its terrible if you ask me

Ivan says:

PETA has a hit on you.

Zach says:

Vick didnt get 24 months for dog fighting. wasnt it gambling charges in there as well?

Zach says:

not saying Donte didnt deserve more time because he obviously did

The prosecutor, judge, and the victim’s family didn’t feel like he deserved to do more time.

Steve H says:

If Stallworth didn’t have millions to pay out, the victim’s family probably would have wanted more time.

The settlement was independent of the criminal prosecution.

(Comments wont nest below this level)
Steve H says:

Can it really be? If they had said publicly they want Stallworth to get 20 years, doesn’t he offer less $ in the settlement? They say they are fine with a month, he pays more money.

Drew says:

+1 but I’m not about to get into that debate again.

Michael Vick had deliberate intention to commit and conceal his crime, and profited from it, making it a criminal enterprise.

Donte Stallworth excercised horrible judgement that caused him to have a fatal accident. He admitted full culpability immediately and attempted to help.

And I believe the judge said there was some negligence on the victim’s part.

Yup. Dude ran into the street, not at the crosswalk.

Steve H says:

Yeah, like blaming a rape victim for wearing skimpy clothing. If Stallworth wasn’t drunk (and high) and driving, the guy is probably alive, regardless of that damn jaywalker.

No. Those comps aren’t remotely similar.

A woman wearing skimpy clothing is not negligence that contributes to her being raped. A man running across moving traffic not at an intersection IS negligence contributing to his being killed.

Apples, oranges.

Steve H says:

While I agree it’s apples/oranges, the defense attorney sells it the same way. Ignore what my client did and focus on the victim.

That’s the defense attorney’s job.

(Comments wont nest below this level)

Steve H says:

Yes. But 24 times more prison time?

If Vick’s crime was ripping tags off of mattresses and found a way to profit from it, it’s not worse than what Stallworth did.

If Vick’s crime didn’t involve the death of multiple living entities, he wouldn’t have received a sentence that big.

And if Stallworth had a motive or intent to commit a crime, his sentence would have been longer.

Also, here’s another point: Vick broke both state AND federal laws. Stallworth didn’t.

Steve H says:

Long story short, I think Vick got too much time and Stallworth not enough. I guess it’s the whole end justifying means argument. Did Vick have worse intentions than Stallworth? Yup. But who’s crime was worse to society? I’ll go Stallworth.

Intent is one of the central components of the American judicial system (and most judicial systems around the world.

If you do something bad intentionally, you get treated harshly. If you do something bad due to negligence or carelessness but with no intent, you get treated more leniently.

Your philosophical complaint requires us to recalibrate the entire theme of centuries of jurisprudence..

Chris says:

So how much time should the owner of a slaughterhouse receive?

Chris = 1
Red Herring = 0

Chris says:

Good point. Those red herring fisheries are the real criminal enterprises…

(Comments wont nest below this level)

Chris says:

Oh, and Vick only did time in federal prison. I believe the state charges were resolved with no additional prison time.

True. Because the Federal charges carried a significant enough penalty.

States often drop prosecutions for just that reason: Prosecutions are costly, and the Feds tend to hand out big sentences anyway.

Drew says:

Boras enjoying the game and his investments.

Jake says:

The start of this game has me very aroused.

Salty Buggah says:

Watching people score with their big bats gets many men aroused

Dela G says:

my god his FB is at 89 at times…

Dorian says:
Dela G says:

on YES it is…

Zach says:

pretend the YES gun is Gammons talking about Brad Penny

Manimal says:

There you go Joba, 3 runs. Now just THROW THE BALL.

Joba…do not nibble tonight. Please.

Dorian says:

It’ll be kinda nice to see Bobby swing the bat again. I alwayz loved his swing.

cjc says:

ok joba no throw fucking strikes tonight

JobaWockeeZ says:

Yes balls is where to be.

Drew says:

Where the fuck did that miss?

Steve H says:

Joba barely stepped off the mound after his 1st pitch. Hopefully he continues to work quickly.

Dorian says:

HERE WE GO!!!!1

Bam Bam Balboni says:

Attack !!!!
I love it.

Zach says:
Chris says:

per John Sterling, the last pitch came in at 91. (Yes, I trust Gameday more)

Nikhil R. says:

Gameday radar gun?

Zach says:

yes, pitches 1, 3, 4 for Figgins AB

cjc says:

anyone elses stomach turn at the thought of grounders being hit to ransom at short

Bam Bam Balboni says:

I am just happy I had an early dinner and I think I have a chance to keep it down after seeing Ransom penciled in at SS tonight.

Salty Buggah says:

eh he’s a better SS than 3B I think

Steve H says:

He’ll probably get to more balls than Jeter. He just won’t field them.

Dorian says:

Gameday says it’s gonna be a long night for the Angels. 97 MPH to Figgins to finish him.

bobtaco says:

Hey, there’s our old friend Bobby Abreu… thanks Bobby!

That was a nice inning.

….Who the hell was that and what did he do with Joba Chamberlain?

Here comes everyone piling on that it was all Posada’s fault in 3… 2… 1…

Steve H says:

If Joba had Varitek, he’d throw a no-hittah!!! every time out.

Dorian says:

Check the splits with Molina at Baseball Reference

Steve H says:

Check out the sample size. Did Jorge call bad games while winning 4 WS?

Drew says:

1 inning down, 8 to go.

brad says:

omg a 9 pitch inning outa job

Teix is the Man says:

That was Roy Halladay on the mound.

Teix is the Man says:

Is the YES gun inaccurate again?

Johan Iz My Brohan says:

On Game Day he topped out at 97 mph.

Teix is the Man says:

Johan Iz My Brohan says:

I <3 Joba very much

Mike says:

Molina is catching, that must be why Joba found his velocity again.

JobaWockeeZ says:

Blasphemy. The only way he gets velocity back is in the bullpen. ESPN, Fox Sports and the rest of the MSM told me so!

Drew says:

TEH Ransom didn’t get a hit! Why is he in the lineup!!11??1

Cokie says:

We got this shit. Jobber dominates tonight.

Johan Iz My Brohan says:

I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but is it because of Jose Molina behind the plate. If so, then I hope Molina becomes Joba’s personal catcher this year.

Zach says:

23year old pitchers shouldnt get personal catchcers

Check out Cerve … errr, Molina!

Heck of an at-bat.

Drew says:

We should maximize Jober’s value and take him out of the game now, after one great inning.

JobaWockeeZ says:

That’s what the Yankees should always do. Except to fully maximize it it has to be the eighth.

David Cone, is that you?

charlie says:

is cone a b-jobber? i didn’t think he was

Cone gushes about Hughes in the bullpen every time he makes an appearance.

Drew says:

Stop tuggin and jerkin my chain.

Steve H says:

Salty Buggah says:

when Molina can have a long AB ;ike it and a hit, it’s a good sign

Dela G says:

as long as he can find a way to get on base, i’ll take it

Zach says:

my favorite was his HBP with bases loaded last year

Dela G says:

Dela G says:

Salty Buggah says:

an OPS of 3.000 in one AB is a triple right? That’s what gamedays lists as A-rod’s #’s Saunders. He is so overdue for a triple, it’s been like years now it seems.

No, it’s a double. 1.000 OBP + 2.000 SLG.

Salty Buggah says:

oh yea, duh!!! I was thinking about slugging %

charlie says:

wow we’re makin him work

Jake says:

Rant on: In response to that Forbes article earlier (Singy jogged my mind) who is going to tell all those people who voted on the ASG that Derek Jeter is the most overpaid person. Hell they think he’s the best player in baseball the way people voted for him….:Rant off

cjc says:

jeez it would be a real shame to get into that pen early tonight

I’m licking my chops at three games of hitting balls at outfielders Juan Rivera and Bobby Abreu.

Steve H says:

Doesn’t Rivera have a crazy UZR this year? I think I just read that somewhere (Neyer?). Good thing we know it won’t last and is clearly just a sample size issue.

Dela G says:

JETER!!!

WHOOOO!!!

LETS GET MORE HITS! We have 2 Adam Dunns in the outfield!

Salty Buggah says:

Zach says:
Drew says:

JobaWockeeZ says:

God damn it Damon! The ONE day I choose to bench you in fantasy you get an RBI which you like never do when you’re not benched. I means seriously this happens every time!

Dela G says:

he’s having a career year! why would you bench him?

Salty Buggah says:

bench him everyday then

Dorian says:

How about this beating for all those “they struggle against the Angels though” folks?

Zach says:

they have over the past 6 years, theres no denying that. did they take 2/3 in the first series? yes. are they winning today in the 2nd inning? yes

ArodMVP217 Retire 51 says:

500 ball is not really struggling tho

cjc says:

watching molina chug around 3rd is very entertaining

Dela G says:

look at joe HUSTLE AND RUMBLE AND TUMBLE THROUGH THE INFIELD! [/chris berman

Dela G says:

Cokie says:

I’ve been thinking and maybe the reason jobber has those mysterious fluctuations in velocity is that some days he goes out and gets tanked the night before his starts. With the road trip he probably didn’t have time to dress up like a mime and booze it up. Now we definitely got this one.

Pure grit from Johnny Damon.

Drew says:

That’s some left-over grit from years passed.

Dela G says:

peter gammons? is that you?

Glaub says:

There is nothing I like better than to watch the Yanks beat up on the Angels.

The sawx are the natural rivals- but no team has annoyed me (and the yanks) more over the years than the angels.

Yeesh, two ugly swings from Alex in that AB. Oh well, can’t complain whilst up 4-0.

Ivan says:

Oh well, at the least the yanks got another run.

Salty Buggah says:

BOOO!!!!

is this the 3rd day in a row we’ve forced the opposing starter to throw 50+ pitches through 2 innings?

Dela G says:

yucky, yucky swing A-rod!

cjc says:

just turned to mlb and they have a live feed of the nats game listening to dibble be a nats homer is sickening what his tie to them again JOKE

Zach says:

cant call him a homer after he called the team pathetic yesterday during the broadcast

Zach says:

“This isn’t a Major League baseball team I’m watching out here….It’s pathetic. I’ve never seen a team that is ok with losing….Some guys are mailing it in, and it’s hard to watch.”

charlie says:

what the fuck was that? i can’t understand what you wrote here at all. thats not english

charlie says:

john flaherty is just awful

RichYF says:

jobber’s release look different to anyone else?

Dorian says:

His motion looks a little different. He’s getting his hand is getting out of his glove on time. It’s something that he has struggled with all year.

Salty Buggah says:

would be nice to get to their already much-maligned bullpen early

Dorian says:

Welp there goes the no no

P.W. says:

I just hope Ajax has a better career than juan

Dela G says:

anyone else realizing that the YES radar gun is waaay off?

that out pitch was 84 according to MLB, 81 according to YES

Charlie says:

dude, the YES radar gun has been off for the entire season, if not the entire history of YES. don’t pay attention to their gun, its useless. gameday is much more accurate

Charlie says:

that ball shoulda been blocked

Salty Buggah says:

P.W. says:

Would you take diminished velocity in exchange for control and a better curve

Drew says:

I’ll take his normal velocity, an improved curve, an improved change and better control. He’s only 23, those things will probably come over time.

ArodMVP217 Retire 51 says:

I want it both ways

Charlie says:

“over/under on how many times flaherty says “proud of his fastball” tonight. i’ll put it at 3

I set it at 4.5 earlier in the thread. I took the over, as did Dela G.

Charlie says:

my bad, i honestly didn’t see that. and i’d go over, too

SD for the text poll, easily. They might as well have asked us who we though was the team’s most productive third baseman this year.

Salty Buggah says:

what does it ask?

What Calif. baseball city would you want to visit most?

I’ll take Oaktown.

Me and CC will roll around the East Bay hollerin at the hoes all night.

yankeefan91 Arod fan says:

Come on Joba lets get out of this inning.

ArodMVP217 Retire 51 says:

GMJ wouldn’t be able to slap that if it was vintage Joba. man has to get that arm in shape for increased confidence

Steve H says:

Anyone else having an issue with StatTracker this week? Mine is literally 30 mins behind.

Joba Chamberlain and four run leads don’t mix.

cjc says:

sooooooooooooooooo frustrating it really is

cjc says:

oh look joba showed up

Dela G says:

well there goes the shutout

damn it joba

I have to listen to Rex Hudler and Steve Physioc complain about how Chone Figgins was snubbed from the ASG.

Dela G says:

physioc was great in MLB 2k8

I’m having a bad flashback of the other game. Come on, Joba. Settle. Settle.

Salty Buggah says:

damn someone put Molina back in there and take JoPo out because his velocity gone again

K.9 says:

We’re going to lose this game like 14-6

Salty Buggah says:

Confidence Level = 10.

Charlie says:

7 right here.. partly due to the idea of hughes as a reliever

Dela G says:

his velocity has been incredible today

too bad YES doesn’t think so

he is getting 96+ tonight

JobaWockeeZ says:

Really Flaherty? He’s not going to significantly change over half a season of starting pitching. At least I can appreciate Kay for being patient with him. I’m pretty sure Zach Grienke wasn’t this hot when he was Joba’s age.

Zach says:

dont use age, use ML experience, because Greinke was in the majors at 20 and had 220+ IP before he turned joba’s age

Dorian says:

Joba is crankin it up tonight

Zach says:

I wonder how Yankee fans would react to Jeff Mathis if he was one of our 1st round (supplimental round) draft pick

cjc says:

90% of them wouldn’t have a clue what that is

Dela G says:

GREAT GOD CANO!

Salty Buggah says:

OK Joba, I’m gonna hope that was a fluke inning and not the first but just in case, let’s score like 3 more runs

Bryan V says:

Oh my God! Boston won! We have to win now too! LOL

Dela G says:

avg fball from joba is 93.9 mph!

getting closer and closer back to normal
