    Jesus Montero. That is all.

    Oy GCL, very oy.

    Yay Jesus!

    • Andy In Sunny Daytona

DSL Yankees2 won today 18-0. The pitchers combined for a 1 hitter. So, we fans have that.

    • Miles Roche

      Sounds like a yiddishe krechtz. . .

  • Brandon

Haha. Last years total. If Montero was still in Tampa he’s have about 40 homers right now, lol. Ok maybe not that. Maybe 30.

But it would not shock me if Montero hits 17 homers by the end of this season just with the Thunder.

Is there any word on Betances? Is he going to pitch again this season, or is he done for the year?

Also, what the hell is up with Brackman? He was supposed to throw like 97-99. Now he is throwing 89-91 and barely reaching 92? I think Yikes may be too nice of a word to describe that.

  • YankeeFan

Say on August 15th, Montero is hitting .310+ OPS’ing around .900 for Trenton. Do you send him to Scranton for the last couple of weeks and for the playoffs?

    • Dela G

i would do it just to give him a taste of AAA

i mean the guy is already very confident in his abilities

      might as well

      • Dorian

Currently hitting .310 in AA with a .937 OPS and 8 HR. BEAST

    • http://www.theyankeeuniverse.com/ The Artist

I’d call him up to the MLB team in September. Not to play much, but just to get a taste.

  • Johan Iz My Brohan

let’s trade the GCL team for Halladay.

    • DreDog

And fill the team with Little Leaguers. I like it.

  • Tony

Marte looks close. Any word on how he’s throwing? Velocity, breaking stuff?

    • zs190

Heard he touched 93 last time.

    • Dela G

how was his velocity before he was injured? anyone know?

i never really paid much attn to it

      • Charlie

i think he’s usually like 93-94 when healthy

  • pat

Ahh, Jairo my boy. Nice to see you back in action. 4ip 5H 3r 1ER 4k 0 BB.

    • pat

That should have read 2R not 3.

  • Johan Iz My Brohan

#yankees might – repeat, might – consider giving up joba for #halladay. but wont entertain request of joba & hughes.

wtf is this shit? I want Heyman’s drugs

    • TurnTwo

its not that hard to believe.

    • Teix is the man

Ricciardi can go fuck himself he ain’t getting shit….but stay on topic

    • Tank the Frank

Heyman is such an ass. He’s the last guy I’d listen to about Yankees rumors.

Who do I trust the most? You guessed it…Frank Stallone.

    • Tony

Prototypical “something out of nothing” crap. They would “consider” giving up Joba means someone didn’t explicitly say “hell no” to the idea when he asked them.

    • http://deleted RollingWave

if it’s Joba and some inconsequential prospects it is a fairly fair deal.

    • Doug

if they could give up joba without somehow including hughes or montero, you do that

  • rconn23

Time to move CoJo to Tampa, right? 5 for 6 tonight with a HR.

  • Mark

Corban Joseph 5 hits tonight, very nice.

  • Johan Iz My Brohan

Ohh just noticed Mariel Checo’s debut…NICE!

  • Charlie

good to see heredia pitch well, i like the 0 BB’s for him and for Romulo sanchez. and is mike dunn’s stuff really nasty or something cause those K’s are ridiculous

    • Mike

How hard does dunn throw? What other pitches does he throw?

  • Danny

    Jesus!

  • http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/blog/ dan

Is it time to put a fork in Angelini yet? I think it is.

    • Jack

      He’s 20.

  • scoopemup

Brett Smith pitched a no-hitter for Trenton, and now he gets no-hitted.
