I found it particularly disturbing that they said that if the Sox are winning after the 6th, the game is pretty much over, but the Yankees, who are undefeated when leading after 6, only got comments about how their bullpen needs work.
Not to mention that the Yankees had 2 +’s and 2 +/-’s, while the Rays had 2 +’s, 1 +/- and 1 – and also received a B. Someone needs to work on their math…

Overall, I think the Yankees deserve a B+ at the very least. The Sox can’t be THAT much better than the Yanks considering they’ve beaten them 8 times and are only 3 games up in the division.

They’re giving up on him as a catcher because most scouts are saying he isn’t going to stick and that his defense isn’t very good.

I was hoping for an open thread.

Did anybody catch (or probably already comment on) the MLB Network’s grade of a B for the Yankees?

Third best record in baseball, leading the AL Wild Card race by two and half games.

Do they have some holes, yes. Particularly on the pitching end, but come on, since May, they’ve looked pretty damn good overall, despite injuries.

I dunno, my .02.
