• Salty Buggah

    Johnny’s back!

  • Dela G

did anyone notice how bombko outdueled porcello today?

incredible how he wins any starts

  • Whitey14

God it sucks when you can state it that basically and have it be true! Thanks a lot Ben ;-)

However, it’s my Birthday so the Sox do need to win, just like springsteen needed to entertain me in Mansfield, MA last night with a killer set including Point Blank, Trapped and Johnny 99. It’s all about me! (Of course if the Red Sox lose, it has absolutely nothing to do with me ;-)

    • Mike HC

      happy birthday how old?

      • Whitey14

The big 37 and thank you very much. Good luck tonight, I won’t be around to comment, but I sincerely hope we see a great pitcher’s duel.

        • PinstripesForeverDouglas

          happy 37th, Whitey!

  • Zack

    http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/08/drama-brewing-over-wagner-claim.html

So it looks like Wagner might not end up in Boston, little war of words between him and Paplebon

    • Drew

Saw that, pretty odd. I’d say that two hotheads stewing in the pen everyday won’t be such a great situation. You can see it now, if one has a bad inning, words will fly..

    • Zack

ok war of words is exagerating a bit, but its not a welcome hug between the two

    • Accent Shallow

And this is why Papelbon is paid to pitch, not to GM.

    • ShuutoHeat

It’ll never work out, because Papelbon will grab Wagner’s nutsacks and then Wagner will sue him for sexual harassment… and it’ll get out of hand.

    • Whitey14

This is extremely dissapointing to me. I like Papelbon, but think he’s pretty much a self absorbed moron. I’ve always loved Billy Wagner and would like nothing more than to see him playing for Boston. A fun experience for me occurred when I yelled “Give ’em hell Billy” from next to the 3rd base duguot in Olympic Stadium and he smiled and waved over at me and my best friend. He did strike out 2 batters in the ninth while saving the game that afternoon to my recollection.

      • Sweet Dick Willie

        I like Papelbon

        WTF?

        • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

          Whitey is a Sox fan.

He’s one of the three or four non-insane ones, and he tends to actually bathe on occasion, so we let him hang around.

          • Sweet Dick Willie

Well, that explains a little, though I have a friend who is a Sux fan, and he despises PapSmear.

  • Drew

Lol Kruk just suggested that the bench calls the game when AJ pitches to Jorge..

    • Salty Buggah

    • barry

…it’s all nonsense. I think AJ isn’t confident throwing the hook to Jorge cuz Jorge can’t handle it…

      • Salty Buggah

No I don’t think so. It’s all nonsense because AJ and Jorge had a good run of starts going for a while. This is just overblown really. While there was a communication problem, there’s nothing too it. It’s all down to the pitcher for deciding what to throw and execute.

        • Mike HC

AJ has two pitches. I dont see why he can’t throw either pitch no matter the situation. It is not like he has six pitches to choose from here. It shows, to me, that AJ is a bit of a sore loser. Nothing more, nothing less

          • Salty Buggah

No, to be honest with you, I thought Jorge threw AJ under the bus instead. And yes, I saw the interviews (I saw your comments from earlier).

            • Mike HC

really? I can’t go back all over this again … I guess I just have to disagree with you, Joe and “the Artist.” I took AJ’s on field actions and interviews of him being a bit of a poor sport and blame shifter when he was simply not his best.

              • Salty Buggah

JoPo: “It seemed like he was shaking me off” a lot, catcher Jorge Posada said. “I asked for a certain pitch and he threw another one. It’s frustrating.”

“I just make suggestions,” he said. “It’s up to the pitcher to throw the pitch he wants. He’s the guy in charge.”

AJ: “There were a couple of heaters (when) I felt that I should have thrown a hook. I step off and re-gather and that’s when the non-executed pitch came. (Posada) calls fine back there. It’s just a matter of me throwing what I want to throw.

From this Jorge kinda seems like the one that’s kinda angry. It’s nothing to me though. Stuff happens and they’ll be good next time.
“There’s no pattern there. I’ve had a great run now with Jorge. So there’s no fingers to point but at me.”

          • Chris

I think that having only two pitches makes it easier for Jorge and AJ to get crossed up. When you have 3-4 pitches, there are generally clear situations when you use them. For example, Joba’s slider is his put away pitch against righties. Occasionally you mix it up so it’s not too predictable, but you generally follow the plan. When there are only two pitches, it’s possible for the pitcher and catcher to be completely convinced that different pitches are the right pitch for a given situation.

            • Mike HC

Interesting. I can see what you are saying. I am just taking issue with the fact that AJ claimed he could not get behind the pitches 100% and throw them with “conviction.” I mean, even if he disagrees, he should be able to suck it up and still perform. I saw that excuse as weak, but I see your point.

    • Mike HC

Anyway, it is a new day. New game. Everyone, including AJ and Jorge, needs to move on

  • Salty Buggah

Looking at the live coverage on ESPN.com, they have some stupid Red Sox and Yanks fans (one said that CC needs to show he can pitch in big games and one said that CC needs to earn his pinstripes tonight if he wants to be considered a Yankee)

    • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WppcSY4SsSk barry

Well it is a good test for CC…

      • Salty Buggah

Good test? Sure. But it’s not all that because this game isn’t all that important as some are making it seem. CC showed he can beat them last time he shut them down.

        • Mike HC

I think it is a very important game, for regular season standards. CC should hopefully pitch well. It won’t take that much to cut our lead to only a couple of games in short order

          • King of Fruitless Hypotheticals

You know what’s a good test? Game Four of the HOLY SHIT JETER!!!

        • lily-bk

ye that was a great win and we finally won at fenway but i want to see us play a competitive game in fenway and the way beckett pitches againt us will be hard

    • Accent Shallow

It really is hilarious how any game against the Red Sox is a “big game”. In the playoffs? Of course. In a tight pennant race? Sure. With a 6.5 game lead in August? Not really, unless you’re the Mets.

    • Riddering

Another said that A-Rod totally dissed Kate’s new movie and she’s all, “Why don’t you support my career” and he was like, “I wish you’d been cast in the new Iron Man movie” and then Jeter mentioned ScarJo and the shit was on.

      • Salty Buggah

Heh, that’s dumb. I think you’re talking about the comments on the game thread. I’m talking about the live chat they have going on.

  • yankeefan91 Arod fan

i feel really confident with Cc on the mound.

  • http://bronxbaseballdaily.com Matt ACTY/BBD

Let’s put the women and children to bed and go looking for some fucking dinner.

  • Jersey

  • gargoyle

Morgan doesn’t bother me – it’s Miller and his love for all things Red Sox that I just can’t take.

    • Tank the Frank

I just can’t stand the way he talks. He has a Sterling-esque love for his own voice.

    • Zack

lets make it simple and call it a draw

    • Dela G

      joe morgan is an idiot

you will see that in full force tonight

  • Salty Buggah

Wow. Crasnick and Caple have blasted Jim Rice so far for his comments.

    • Tank the Frank

It’s tough for anyone to defend him…

      • Zack

        Lou Merloni did

  • Little Bill

If CC doesn’t win tonight, expect a barrage of panic. “CC’s not a true Yankee, CC’s not a true ace like Beckett. The Yankees can’t win big games or beat good teams blah blah blah.” I hope CC shuts them up.

    • Salty Buggah

Hah, that’s life with some Yanks fans. Even if we have clinched the division and are playing the last game of the year, I’m sure those same people will complain about having to win that game.

    • fightin’ irish

i can’t tell you how much i hate the notion of a ‘true yankee’. you wear the uniform, you’re a yankee. plain and simple.

      • Zack

        carl pavano?

        • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

          Yup. Him too.

          • Zack

if Mike Mussina calls you out then theres something wrong with you

            • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

              I agree.

And yet, Mike Mussina calling him out and Pavano himself sucking still does not make Pavano not a Yankee.

              • Zack

Yes he was a Yankee, was he a true Yankee who stepped up to the plate and played his part in helping the team win games? No.

You can have a different opinion and say there’s no difference between one Yankee and another, but thats not how I see it

                • Chris

You can feel that he wasn’t worth his contract (or any contract). You can criticize him for all of the injuries. You can criticize Cashman for signing him.

But if he goes to the mound for the Yankees you should be cheering for him and hoping he pitches well. Because he is a Yankee.

  • I hate Tom Gordon

Hey, I hear Jerry Remy’s back. Does that mean no more Eck masturbating in in the NESN booth?

  • Zack

I hope Beckett has a short night tonight so I dont have to see him show emotion and then get praise for being a bulldog fourteen times a batter

    • Dela G

      same here

  • Jersey

I just saw the play that ended the Mets game. Oh. My. God.

  • Salty Buggah

Beckett’s fuckin face is SOOO annoying! It makes me want to kill a puppy (same with Papelbon, Youkilis, Pedroia, and now V-Mart)

    • Mike HC

Don’t forget Lester. His face is annoying too

      • handtius

    • adeel

dunno… i think someone at optimum wanted to do a “gametime” weather condition report, and they cut her off when they realized he had just hit a homerun..
      maybe????

  • Zack

Jeter’s been hot because hes been looking to go the other way

    seriously steve

    • Zack

then 1 batter later he says Jeter is someone who always looks to go the other way

  • Drew

    27thhundreth haha

  • handtius

wowzers. I like how ESPN spent the whole pregame talking about how to shut down Jeter and he drives one deep.

  • ShuutoHeat

Jeter is so G, they need to make a new flavor for him. If Tiger Woods gets his own G flavor, so should JETER!

    • Salty Buggah

  • Bugsy

joe morgan is muted!!!??? thank god. i’ve waited for this for…so long.

  • whozat

Yeah, Steve, you know what the “something” is about Derek Jeter? HE IS INCREDIBLY GOOD AT BASEBALL.

    • Chili Davis

Surprising he could see that pitch coming with those dreadlocks blocking his view. And I don’t know how he runs the bases in those baggy pants.

      • BigBlueAL

Rice actually said today he was misquoted and that he obviously wasnt referring to Jeter or Arod since they dont wear dreadlocks or baggy pants.

        • Zack

then why did he menton them with Manny?

          • BigBlueAL

Dunno, just read the article today on ESPN.com where Rice talked about being misquoted.

            • Zack

Yes, whenever someone says something controversal the first thing they say is mis-quoted.

        • Chili Davis

Good. I would hope Rice was misquoted; otherwise he should probably check into some sort of mental facility.

      • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

Hmmm… I know you’re going for a combination of comedy and a poignant observation.

I give you a B+ on the comedy side and an F on the poignant observation side. Jeter’s lack of dreadlocks and baggy pants = irrelevant

        • Chili Davis

          Cool.

          • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

Well, I was more talking to Jim Rice through you, but you know what I’m talking about.

Its Game 4 of the 2000 WS all over again.

  • MikeD

  • E-ROC

Doesn’t Steve Phillips know that Jeter has been going the other way his entire career?

    • http://bronxbaseballdaily.com Matt ACTY/BBD

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

  • King of Fruitless Hypotheticals

That whiny little bitch complaining by Pedroia was such a great and awesome display of leadership.

      • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

That’s because they’re all such awesome team players and none of them are me-firsters.

It’s kind of ironic to call Pedroia a leader, because all 25 Red Sox players are team leaders and also loyal soldiers in each other’s armies, all at once.

    • Stryker

but i thought the yankees were whiny little bitches?!

Damn how did Matsui get to that pitch.

  • handtius

    so sweet. The asian amazing.

  • http://www.retire21.org Mike R. – Retire 21

    Wooo…and may I add hoo!

  • Josh K

    Matsui!!

  • http://bronxbaseballdaily.com Matt ACTY/BBD

BABIP feels no sympathy for Nick Swisher.

  • BigBlueAL

Damon and Matsui are certainly at the least making it a difficult decision to just let them walk at the end of the season.

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

      Meh, not really.

      • BigBlueAL

Will it really be that easy replacing both of their bats???? Definitely both will not return but if none of them return the Yankees will certainly have to find a pretty big bat from somewhere.

        • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

No, it won’t be easy replacing Matsui’s bat.

But yeah, we’re still gonna do it. Because one of these times he goes to get his knees drained of fluid, they’re not going to stop barking.

    • http://bronxbaseballdaily.com Matt ACTY/BBD

No, Matsui’s gone no matter what. I think the more difficult decision with Damon will be whether or not to offer him arbitration (and I don’t think they will).

    • Chili Davis

I’d like to see one of them retained as the full-time DH. If that fails, Abreu through free agency or Dunn via trade.

      • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

I doubt Abreu comes back. Pride won’t let him, he’ll stay in LA. Plus, they let him play the OF.

        • King of Fruitless Hypotheticals

          MANNY DH

  • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

    Matsui: half man, half am-asian.

  • Josh K

I am hoping for more technical difficulties with Joe Morgan’s mic.

    • ShuutoHeat

I hope he gets some violent diarrhea and misses everything, either that or make it a living hell for the others.

  • whozat

And Burnett’s number indicate success with Posada. Just not last night.

    Phillips is an idiot.

    • RichYF

I like that he got called out for not citing numbers, but even afterward he didn’t actually give any statistics other than “99 games started.” I assume their Tony “Statboy” Reali will be providing them with information during the break…

  • YankeeScribe

I’m starting to think that it’s not that our stadium is a bandbox, but that we just have some awesome hitters this season. They turn every stadium into a bandbox…

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

      It’s both.

    • http://bronxbaseballdaily.com Matt ACTY/BBD

They turn every stadium into a bandbox…

      +1

  • Mike

Will Molina hit a home run on the first pitch in the 3rd?

  • RichYF

Apparently we’re playing counter-strike and Youk has a lot of awps.

  • adeel

i do not say “OPS” sorry.

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

      I say ops.

  • Stryker

so two homers in the first two innings, is it varitek’s fault now?

  • BigBlueAL

    Youkilis looked stunned.

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

Eh, Ol’ Squirrel-Beard actually had a pretty legit beef there. That was a ball.

  • http://www.riveraveblues.com Mike Axisa

Good to see CC getting the wide outside corner.

  • adeel

how duz it feel to have your assed “wested”?

  • JSquared

    Youkilis… gonna cry?

  • Drew

    Morgan: I’m a ribby guy.
Miller: I’m and R-B-I’s guy myself.
    Morgan: Me too.

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

      Joe Morgan = Yogi Berra

  • Josh K

    CC!! you beast!

  • BigBlueAL

    CC looking nasty tonight.

  • http://bronxbaseballdaily.com Matt ACTY/BBD

    Peace Kevin and Jason.

  • Dela G

this is a good start for the yanks offense

  • Salty Buggah

nice job CC not throwing Bay a fastball.

  • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

Heh. What the hell was Johnny jumping at?

  • Dela G

what a great play by leche on that double by lowell

  • ShuutoHeat

Some people say Joe Morgan, most of us say “moron”.

  • http://www.riveraveblues.com Mike Axisa

    Jason Bay vs. fastballs: .317
Jason Bay vs everything else: .241

  • JSquared

Melky, finally accurate, but a tad late.

  • BigBlueAL

Damon jumped as if he actually had a chance of catching that.

  • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

That was a heads up play by Melky. Well positioned. Kudos.

  • E-ROC

Damon sold that play too well for my liking.

  • Dela G

    damn

    2-1 yanks

lets get them out with 2 outs please?

  • BigBlueAL

Are you fuckin serious with these 2-out runs.

  • The Fallen Phoenix

    Flashbacks to 1996-2007…

  • http://bronxbaseballdaily.com Matt ACTY/BBD

    Well that was deflating.

  • JSquared

    Baldelli… really?

  • E-ROC

    Shit.

  • Salty Buggah

    ah damn, cmon ZZ!

  • whozat

    ugh

  • V

Ugh, what IS IT with 2 out runs??!

  • Salty Buggah

No more 2-out fuckin runs please!

  • Dela G

    FUCKIN A!!!

    cmon CC

  • whozat

    fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

  • http://www.riveraveblues.com Mike Axisa

    Ah shit.

  • The Fallen Phoenix

You’re kidding, right? Right? That’s ridiculous.

  • MikeD

I don’t like this half of the inning.

  • JSquared

What is it about runs with 2 outs? a veteran team? or lucky?

    • Little Bill

It means the Red Sox are the grittiest team in the league and they know how to win like Joe Morgan said.

  • E-ROC

    Luck.

  • BigBlueAL

The fucking scrubs of the lineup.

  • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

    Meh, I’m not worried.

    Confidence Level: 10

  • Zack

come on you were crusing cc

  • bicycle boy

    great job cc

  • Salty Buggah

    ARE you serious? Varitek?!!!

Almost all of the losses lately were because of 2-out runs!

  • whozat

    well that was a strike.

  • Chili Davis

Alex Gonzalez knows how to play the game, huh? Considering he’s in the majors, I would hope so.

  • Accent Shallow

How the hell does Lowell score from second?

  • Mikey K-9

Damn this Red Sox team is hard to keep down

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

      Yup. They’re like bad shellfish.

    • whozat

Well, when your ballpark turns lazy flies to left into doubles and homers, that helps.

      • Mikey K-9

Then the Yankees need to start hitting some lazy fly balls off the handball court.

  • Riddering

How many time are going to have to hear that Beckett pitched for the Marlins in 2003?

  • whozat

yeah, letting the bottom of the lineup get to him sucks.

  • Jim

    FAT ASS

  • adeel

do u think that the two out runs are starting to get into the player’s heads?

    • Riddering

      No.

  • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

Alex Gonzalez looks like Joe Budden.

  • JSquared

i don’t see the Yankees giving up 2 out runs in october so… it’s only frustrating because its against the red cox.

  • trueblue

Goddammit CC. Lowell, Rocco and Varitek?? Are you fucking kidding me. I’m tired of seeinr our pitchers shit the bed with 2 outs.

    • JSquared

a baldelli bleeder and varitek opposite field right passed Teixeira… come on.

      • trueblue

        2-0 is now 2-2
        That is all

  • Salty Buggah

one of these weeks, the Sox will NOT be able to hit anything with 2-out and will a shitload of games.

    • Jim

      don’t forget ‘lose’

    • Jim

      don’t forget ‘lose’

  • bicycle boy

    lock it down now, cc….

  • http://www.riveraveblues.com Mike Axisa

Heh, Molina tried to get in on the first pitch homerun thing.

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

      He was sitting dead red.

(I just like saying that phrase. I want to work it into my conversations at work. “Hey, this is a really well written statement, Tommie! How did you pull this off?” “I was sitting dead red.”)

  • Tony

    What an classless single

  • Drew

Jetes is just smoking right now.

  • lily-bk

i actually thought the yanks win this one but after seeing the way cc just pitched i don’t know i hope we win but man whats with the scoring and 2 outs????

    • Jersey

The hell’s the matter with you. It’s the 3rd inning of a TIE GAME.

      • lily-bk

well with the way its going 3rd inning or not based on the bottom of the 2nd its kind of hard to think they will win especially with boston and their 2 out rallies

  • Dale

    Cc is a choker

    • whozat

      :rolls eyes:

    • whozat

      Beckett is a choker.

  • E-ROC

Two pitches = homer and single. Jeter is efficient.

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

Jeter is all about doing a lot with the least amount of effort used.

      You don’t want to chafe.

(Yes, I left that deliberately ambiguous. Enjoy.)

      • Jack

Jeter is all about doing a lot with the least amount of effort used.

        Holy shit, he’s Dominican?!?!

        • whozat

I literally laughed out loud. Well done, sir!

  • whozat

    Now RUN Jete!!

  • http://forums.projectcovo.com/images/smilies/e6omir.gif OmgZombies!

Dont tell me now Beckett shuts us down.

  • Jim

Has a cycle ever been accomplished on four swings?

  • Salty Buggah

Sox have gotten pretty lucky this series with 2-out hits. And tonight they got 2 weak groundball hits for the runs. All Luck, hopefuully it runs out from now on.

    • whozat

Varitek’s was well-struck, but Tex should’ve gotten to that. He was holding the runner on and fell over when he went to try to stop the ball.

      • Salty Buggah

in other words, it was luck… ;)

        • whozat

yeah, but it wasn’t a weak grounder. Give him credit, he put the good part of the bat on it.

  • JSquared

Uh Oh, the hits are starting to fall in, Boston… get scared.

  • Salty Buggah

    no DP Tex

    • lily-bk

i hope not, but how r his numbers against beckett?

  • MikeD

Sometimes Morgan does say right things.

  • http://www.riveraveblues.com Mike Axisa

Someone needs to tell Beckett to shave that snatch off his chin.

    • Drew

He wants to butt Cap’n America like it. heh

      • Drew

        Dang. **likes

    • Johan Iz My Brohan

He’s on the Red Sox, it’s mandatory and shows the high levels of grit one must possess to be on the Red Sox.

  • BigBlueAL

How about Joe Morgan giving Jeter some love!!!! And you guys say Morgan is a Yankee hater….

    • http://eemack.blogspot.com Jackson

I never thought he was a Yankee hater. I just think he’s a turd.

  • Drew

    Way to go Teix.

  • lily-bk

    ye tex!

  • http://www.riveraveblues.com Mike Axisa

A-Rod’s about to conduct some bidness.

    • http://twitter.com/tsjc68 tommiesmithjohncarlos a/k/a Ridiculous Upside

From your lips to Mo’s ears.

  • BigBlueAL

    Gotta love the pitcher’s duel.

  • Salty Buggah

    TEX!

  • BklynJT

Any notice how Beckett always walks towards home plate like a huge dooche bag after every pitch? This attempt to constantly intimidate the opposing hitters makes him look like such an utter ass hole IMO. I’m sure red sox fans love it though.

    • whozat

Look, I hate Josh Beckett. I think he’s an immature turd, and the Bobby Abreu thing this year is the perfect exemplar of that.

But, I think you’re overreacting on this one. I really think he’s just going to get the return throw.

  • bicycle boy

lets get these 2 runs back

  • e mills

I know I’m beating a dead horse here…but damn are these ESPN announcers annoying

  • RichYF

Wow, Joe Morgan just pissed on Matsui.

  • Salty Buggah

    cmon A-rod!

  • http://forums.projectcovo.com/images/smilies/e6omir.gif OmgZombies!

Arod has bigger t*ts than Kate Hudson

    • Salty Buggah

…and that’s why he was called what he called

  • http://www.riveraveblues.com Mike Axisa

Dare a say … gritty RBI by Alex?

    • whozat

Nah, disappointing. If Jeter had done it, it would have been great situational hitting.

    • http://and-that-happened.blogspot.com Evan

      A-Rod’s gritbeard >>>>> Youk’s.

  • Drew

    There ya go Al.

  • Chili Davis

Productive out. I’ll take it. Good work, A-Rod.

  • Jim

    Cannot complain

  • lily-bk

    productive out arod

  • Sam

By the way, has anyone every seen a called strike three on Kevin Youkilis where he doesn’t start to cry? I’ve seen a lot of Red Sox baseballl in the past few years and he never takes the call and sits down. Ever.

    • MikeD

I was thinking the same thing. Waaaaaa…..

  • MikeD

It’s like Koufax and Marichal, except it’s not.

  • Salty Buggah

    cmon 2-out hit Hideki

  • Tony

These innings are way too effing long
