cmon alex, you got dis shit today
If Damon steals 2nd are we tied or does that single not get through cause theres no hole? (Got the radio feed)
Davis was holding Damon on so he failed to flag the ball down.
i think damon gets thrown out. It was a strong throw from middle right field
So much for the pitcher’s duel :/
Arod with his favorite 0-2 count…
well that sucked
Did A-Rod just get booed?
Wouldnt be surprised.
Good God. Is the team not 79-47 and the best team in the Majors?
Plus, they’re into the Ranger bullpen in the 4th. Something tells me that the Yanks will put up more than a few runs from here on out.
Most of us here at RAB, I feel are the exception to the rule. The rule being Yankee fans are fickle assholes.
He had a terrible AB, but man those fans are hard to please.
It’s as if nobody is allowed to make an out. Do people prefer Cody Ransom?
CC has been everything you could ask for and Burnett has been solid but Tex is the signing of the year. With as good as hes played, how he has helped the defense and how much Boston needed him its been unreal. Got to give Theo credit. He realized then he would need him and put all the eggs in that basket. And give Cashman credit for realizing that and getting him.
I give Theo SO MUCH CREDIT for realizing that Tex would be good and then failing to acquire him.
Theo Epstein defines clutch.
Wait, what are we giving Theo credit for again? Wanting Teixeira?
Who knew a switch hitting, glod glove 1B, who goes .290 35 hr with .380 OBP would be chased after by other teams than just the Yankees
What a pathetic AB by Arod. It’s ridiculous that Nipples only allowed 2 runs.
AJ’s stuff is still filthy
Really great article on challenging current conventional wisdom and looking towards going back to 4-man rotations.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.c.....index.html
It looks really in depth, and I was wondering the same thing, if the pitchers these days get hurt because of the pitch count and the rest. The way to develop arm strength is to throw, throw, throw.
AROD has not been himself at all this year, I wonder how much more work that Hip really needs and if he will bounce back next year. The ball isn’t jumping off his bat at all, not even the sharp singles.
he’s still hitting ~.300 since the florida marlins series….
No power
False. Since the Florida series, SLG = .537 and OPS = .957
I love facts.
lol those are absurd numbers
Chris Davis vs. AJ Burnett = no chance
my god, 10ks through 4 2/3
Probably close to 100 pitches i’d imagine. That 4th was brutal.
just 83. he was real effective before the 4th
Even better than I thought. I knew he was doing well aside from the 4th but not that well.
yeah the ump didnt help on that first walk on base
We havent had one of those outrageous 18 strikeout performances lately. Not that it’s happening here. But what happened? No more 50-60 home runs with regularity either. Maybe the roids are finally starting to filter out. I sort of miss it.
Greinke just struck out 15 the other night. Lincecum had what, 17 a few weeks ago?
Timmy had 15 v. Pitt
Lincecum struck out 15 too
PED’s are still being used. There will always be masking agents and people tipping off the tests, etc. Unfortunate, but the way it is.
Hmm, he wasn’t calling that pitch before.
Why would he? Its in the other batters box. Lol.
cmon offense, you can muster up a run?
Hard when the ump is expanding the zone for Rangers’ pitchers.
agreed
Wow. I’m looking at the “live pitches” thing on my blackberry on the Yankees Application and that 8th pitch called strike looked WAY inside. Is it just a bad program or does that seem about right?
It looked inside on TV and a touch inside on Gameday.
http://www.baseballamerica.com.....68776.html
1. Gerrit Cole, rhp (So., UCLA)
Cole was utterly dominant for Team USA, going 4-0, 1.06 with 46 strikeouts and 10 walks in 34 innings. Scouts were unanimous in proclaiming him the national team’s best prospect. “He’s head and shoulders above the rest,” one scouting director said. Added Team USA coach Rick Jones, “I’ve never coached a better arm than this one, and I’ve been doing this a long time.”
Cole, the Yankees’ unsigned first-round pick in 2008, sat in the 95-98 mph range all summer, topping out at 99-100 a few times in Canada at the end of the summer. His delivery is not effortless and he throws across his body a bit, but scouts express no significant concerns about his mechanics or arm action. His fastball command still rates as below-average, but he made progress this summer using a mid-90s two-seamer to get ground balls and keep his pitch count down. Cole flashes a plus slider at 85-87 mph, but he tends to overthrow it and must become more consistent with the pitch. He threw a changeup on occasion early in the summer before largely abandoning the pitch. Knocked in the past for his makeup, Cole earned plaudits for his toughness and fierce competitive spirit, and he showed true leadership potential this summer as well.
Damn his father and his trillions.
/bummed
Watch, Cano gets a hit with no one on base.
Or not.
is Feliz available today?
I believe so.
why wouldnt he be? only Yankees baby their pithcers
Because they’re handling him with “Joba Rules”.
You know the economy is bad when Jack Daniels is now a Kia dealer.
11ks…
nope–Rangers radio guys just said Feliz is NOT available today
awesome
Undici.
Hey Matt, the forum of the last thread closed so I wasn’t able to answer our grad/work conversation. Bridgeport, you said? I don’t know much about the graduate programs there, but did check out Law and Urban Planning programs in the UCONN system. What are you planning on studying?
As for me, well, I’m working as a freelance editor/proofreader for a medical communications company and I have an internship at The Onion (non-writing, unfortunately) starting on Monday. I’m looking at Brooklyn Law and Hunter for a dual JD/MUP program for next Fall.
cmon AJ, you can’t walk young here
oh well, he got on base legitimately there
It’s one thing to watch both sides get squeezed, but it makes no sense when the Rangers have no control this game and are getting pitches in the other batter’s box and it seems like AJ is actually pitching damn well, except for those 3 batters in the 4th, and he’s getting squeezed.
Happens a lot. It’s liberal america. Nobody likes success or successful people/teams. The Yankees are the poster children of success and extremely easy to hate because of it.
jesus christ
cannot get a called strike
never.
This umpire is horrible.
Can A.J. please not do the whole 2-out walk turns into a run thing that has apparently become the new cool thing for Yankees pitchers to do?
Four breaking balls in a row?
/Joba’d
4 hooks in a row
3 straight curveballs?
four–and why not? he crushed the last fastball he saw
12Ks!!
wow
offense get this brotha some runs!
wow–the Rangers got Saltalamacchia, Andrus, Feliz, Matt Harrison, and a AA pitcher from the Braves for one year of Mark Teixeira
a year of Tex and half a year of Ron Mahay, that is
Kinsler is giving a Cano a run for the title of Laziest Second Baseman. Didn’t even bother to run to first.
Any other contenders out there?
why didnt Kinsler run on the dropped 3rd strike?
Probably thought he held up.
It would be nice if the best offense in the majors could show up now.
Can’t. Jose Molina is the plague.
We’re a .500 team when Jose Molina plays in a baseball game. Including (but not limited to): ONE win in 10 games played in BOTH of the months of May and June.
Pretty awful huh?
but Posada can’t call games!!
It doesn’t matter. His defense makes up for everything. Everything, I tell you.
The Gardner injury has shown again that Melky is better as a part time player.
Jason Grilli? really guys?
I can’t believe that alien-looking first baseman made that play.
Jason Grilli is an ANIMALLLLLL!!!!! ARRGGGHHHH!!!!!
FEAR JASON GRILLI!!!
Jason Grilli…amazing.
Why is Coke in? Because of AJ’s walks?
AJ threw 105, he’s been laboring a little and a lefty is hitting, seems like a fine decision to me
This game just isn’t going our way. I don’t have a good feeling about it.
I hate Phil Coke.
This just feels like one of those games.
Time to take Coke out.
coke why the fuck did you do that
Terrible, that’s A-Rod’s ball.
Coke melt-down
FUCK YOU PHIL COKE!
well done Coke
Coke and a smile. Sweet.
just like that
i felt this shit coming
Well this is not a good start to the 7th inning.
And that my friends puts a damper on winning the game.
Coke will cost us a big playoff game. Just so inconsistent.
wow i can’t believe that happened
did coke pop his hands in the air as if its a popup?
hahaha good work, coke!
Coke this inning – shit, shit, and bigger shit.
Well done sir.
Well, that got out of freaking hand really damn fast.
Dear Joe: Phil Coke is not a LOOGY. that is what Marte is for
Why no Marte?
they shoewd him warming up last inning did they?
yeah, the rangers broadcast said he was warming up
not to overreact, but that doesnt seem good then
Their starter goes 4 innings walking like 7 guys and only giving up 2 runs. Then their reliever comes in and sits the best offense in baseball down in their own home.
Our starter goes 6 innings, striking out like 12…then our reliever comes in and immediately gives up a double and another hit without picking up an out.
Pretty standard…
What?
Anyone see the NY Post rumor that the Yanks are interested in Penny?
Probably a joke.
Thanks Phil Coke for now putting the game out of reach.
Good thing Marte is back. I trust him way more in the playoffs than Coke.
Son of a bee-sting, they’re making us look bad.
Phil Coke for the loss..
actually its AJ…
He didn’t deserve it though. He pitched a good game. The offense didn’t show up and the bullpen didn’t do their part.
damn it phil fucking coke
i want to throw stuff at my tv, but it cost me too much money
Phil Coke, the LOOGY, gives up a double and HR to both LHBs he faced. That’s doing your job.
Im drinking Pepsi from now on….
IETC
wow, if it wasn’t for that i would have been really convinced we’d win this game.. thanks a lot coke
We have Joba, Pettitte, and Burnett against Texas AT HOME…
And we lose the series.
Good thing the playoffs don’t start roughly a month from now…
Didnt we lose 2 out of 3 at home to Washington?
Relax
That was back when we were in a funk
We were on a roll coming into this series…
Bo with perspective?!
it doesn’t mean anything … we could’ve won game 1, and this game was winnable until phil cock shat himself.
That’s the worst part, if not for Girardi’s lunacy we should be going for the sweep today.
Sure one game doesn’t mean anything, but we aren’t used to seeing the Yanks play like this. I also don’t like the fact that Boston has gained 2.5 games on us in this week.
I don’t like it either…
And like I said. They have 20 of the last 36 games at home and over 20 of their remaining games against sub .500 teams. We have less in both…
The game’s not over. You’d think know that considering all the comebacks they’ve had this year.
Yeah, that’s true. But the offense has been horrible today.
Until we have first and second with no outs and we try to bunt them over!
What happens when the dynamic duo of Melky and Molina come up in the “big” situation?
We’re going to see just how bad losing Posada really is…very soon.
It’s not over yet, but this certainly feels like one of those Madden “No Fucking Way” games.
When Coke is bad he is truly freaking awful. He is way to prone to the long ball especially to lefty’s.
Any chance Coke gets bumped to the back of the bullpen?
if marte stays healthy and pitches well, any chance they keep him and not coke as the lefty in the pen in the playoffs? Then they could roll with a pen of Mo, Hughes, Bruney, Aceves(if he gets straightened out), Marte, Robertson and Gaudin.
So, when did Billy Traber legally change his name to Phil Coke?
Well, Mr Marte. heres your chance to claim the #1 lefty spot out of the pen. Thank Coke for leaving the door wide open.
I honestly dont know why Hughes is in the pen if he cant pitch the 7th and 8th right there. All you wanted the pen to do was keep the game where it was. For that, I want the best available pitcher pitching. I can care less that there were lefties coming up.
Hughes has pitched 8 innings this month. Horrendous use of a resource.
+65
But Girardi is the best manager ever in regards to the pen!
It wasn’t the magical 8th inning.
This is definitely a game where Phil Hughes needs to pitch, unfortunately, Girardi forgot that he exists.
this game is far from out of reach–Feliz is unavailable, and we might see Posada off the bench if necessary
I’d be really surprised if Posada came in.
Why is Feliz unavailable?
Isnt Texas fighting for the playoffs?
because they are babying him
the Texas radio guys said earlier that he wasn’t available
So Mike Dunn has no chance of being better than Phil Coke, huh?
Losing this series is a bad omen. I don’t care about the best record in baseball. This is so typical. AJ strikes out 12 and dominates (ooops…I forgot) he almost dominates. Then the offense has 11 base runners in 3 2/3 against Nippert and gets all of 2 runs. Then Coke, who shouldn’t have pitched last night looks like he forgot how to pitch. This sucks. After tonight the lead will be down to 5 games. Good thing there are only 30+ left.
funny how NOW you and your other buddies show up and decide to post
Meaning?
The negative comments tend to come in groves when the Yanks are losing.
obviously that’s gonna happen. why would people come write negative things when the yankees are winning? I don’t see what’s so hard to understand about why that happens.
Who said it was hard to understand? I understand it completely. Just funny/sad that people watch an entire game and the first post they make is in the 7th inning and its negative.
Yeah, how awful a five game lead will be after the White Sox forfeit tonight.
You know the White Sox will find away to lose twice tonight despite playing only one game
Why are the Red Sox automatic to win?
Because they always luck out.
is there any doubt they score 3 more to make it 6-5 and make it interesting?
Considering how the offense has looked so far today, yeah there’s plenty of doubt.
I’ll take my chances. They looked pretty fruitless on Mon too.
Not surprised Coke blew a close game. For a lefty reliever, lefty hitters have very comfortable ABs against this guy. How many HRs has he given up to lefties this year?
http://www.baseball-reference.com/
Thanks. 9 HRs overall in 51.2 innings this season. That’s terrible. He won’t be around much longer.
thanks for the terrible play elvis!
ok…now they HAVE to score some runs. come on Alex
I’ve had my personal hitman on speed dial for a couple years now and I’ve used him on guys like Betemit and Ransom, and now that I can’t take anymore of Coke’s bullshit, I think it’s the perfect time to use him. You guys agree?
send him to AAA four days before rosters expand? to what end?
And not call him back up! Time after time he just fails to get the job done. Which is get lefties out. You are a f-ing LOOGY for god’s sake!!!
well, your hitman must really suck, because Cody Ransom is mysteriously in AAA scranton right now, and Betemit is in the minors in Chicago.
Oh no. It’s not to kill them. It’s just to take them out of my sight. Aka off the yanks active ml roster
Way to kill the joke. Smh. Jerk. Lol.
but no, i don’t think coke is that bad. he’s just a homer prone and inconsistent. if he’s got options they could consider sending him down for a few days i guess, but i don’t see the point.
“he’s just homer prone and inconsistent” well, I don’t know about you. But that’s pretty bad if you ask me. Especially for a reliever that we use in close games
I swear if Girardi makes someone not named Jose Molina or Mary Carey bunt tonight, I’m driving to the Bronx and stealing his protein shakes
CJ Wilson looks like pedophile in his Gameday pic.
Looks like Coke and Aceves have hit the Aug wall.
Would be a real nice time for Marte to pitch well and Robertson to stop walking hitters.
BUNT ALEX!!
Hey guys, we need to move the runners over, what do you think about having a-rod bunt here?
that would have been nice…
Wouldnt have shocked me if Coke didn’t screw up this game
Ugly swing by A-Rod there.
Holy outside on matsui.
They should just kick everyone out of the Stadium and never let them back in for booing A-Rod. It’s embarrassing.
+1
And for doing the wave.
It’s their money and they can voice whatever disdain they want. You might disagree, but it doesn’t make too much sense to kick people out for voicing their opinion.
Pretty sure it was a hyperbole.
It’s kind of hard to take them seriously when their opinion changes based on the outcome of the at-bat. They’re just booing because it’s the cool thing to do.
So fans shouldnt get mad and boo performance? They should cheer or not say anything after bad plays?
It’s the btm of the 7th and he just K’d with 2 men on and no one out. Why cant people boo him? They are booing the performance. Not him.
Apathy is much worse
oh i wouldnt take them seriously, at all. The fans that go to these games are often the shittiest fans of all (all passion no brain). But…they did pay the exorbitant fee to get there, they can determine if the product is to their satisfaction.
It really is.
oh fuck, this game has gotten ugly as hell
i don’t know why that came out as a reply
Wow. Strike 1 to Matsui might be the worst call yet.
strike 1 to swisher might give that a run for its money
Yep. It sure did. Impressive work by Reynolds here. It was almost as if he said, “Hey, wait a second. They might come back. Let me fix that.”
So the pitchers can’t get anyone out with 2 outs already and the Yankees can’t score with 2 outs. Weird but frustrating.
You can’t blame them for swinging at balls when Reynolds seems intent on giving Rangers’ pitchers a strike on any pitch that even sniffs the Bronx.
It is apparent that the umpire has lost the strike zone.
Wilson getting a lot of calls i see
The Rangers are a scary team to play in Oct with the power arms they have in the pen and the power they have in the lineup.
Every team is scary in a short series.
Arent some more than others?? Jeez
Yeah and Texas would be the least scary of the current possibilities in my opinion.
I see what you’re saying, but their starting pitching has looked vulnerable, and with the exception of Feliz, no one in their pen is very scary, despite their success today.
not the rangers, really. they’re probably the least scary of the likely playoff teams in the AL.
I’d actually much rather face Texas than Detroit with Verlander in a short series.
The Tigers lineup is brutal.
in a good way or a bad way?? Its not a great lineup, but they’ve got a few real good hitters. “Brutal” does not apply.
11th in the AL in Runs, 10th in OBP and SLG, and just for fun- 12th in AVG
yikes, i didn’t know that. but still with cabrera, granderson, etc., they’ve got something
‘etc’ is who? because all they have it Cabrera and granderson- and he disappears against lefties
jesus christ
swing people
Well, it’s a double edged sword because they’re not good pitches to hit because they’re well, not strikes at all. Of course, if Reynolds continues to gift strikes left and right, they might have to.
Why swing at pitches 3 inches away from you, Swish got a bunch of obvious ball called strikes.
Ump sure loves to call strikes for the guys in blue.
C.J. Wilson just brought the pwn.
if by pwn you mean throwing fastballs 3-5 inches off the plate and having them called strikes?
Blame the Yanks. He got Swisher to look at the same three pitches for strikes in that at-bat.
Yeah, but that’s a slippery slope. As Wade Boggs once said, and I’m paraphrasing, I’ve been studying the strike zone for 20 years, I’m not going to have one ump fuck it ump for me.
I agree with Yankee1010, it’s a slippery slope. Sure you can see how the tenor of the zone is changing with the at bat, but it’s like relearning how to drive in the middle of the autobahn. For a guy with extremely good strike zone judgment like Swisher has to not swing, those are obvious balls, or it probably wouldn’t do much good for Swish to swing at them. He’ll pop them up or ground out weakly or hopefully, foul it off.
this ump is fucking terrible
Now that was a fine display of hitting…. whiff, whiff, and whiff. Good thing they didn’t have anyone on base that could have scored.
I want this ump ejected now!
two of those were completely off, and the other one was right on the edge
someone should shoot the ump in the head
Great. Now we get the “blame the ump” crowd.
I’m not blaming anybody. But his stirkezone has been very inconsistent.
This ump is a clown
So what does it mean if the Yankees lose, Boston wins, Yanks are up by only 5 and face a White Sox team that thumped them and is coming off a 4 game sweep from Boston?
You forgot “…and that are due for some wins”
Very rarely do teams get swept twice in a row. Especially a team that isn’t that bad…like the White Sox.
I don’t have a good feeling about all of this…
MLB would have a field day with a nice little Pitch/fx chart from today. Robertson’s 1st and 3rd pitches would have been strikes if they were from a Ranger today and his 2ndpitch was completely in the strike zone.
I’m sorry, but, yes, it is possible for an umpire to affect the outcome of a game. Yeah, Coke blew it, but wow, Reynolds is either completely incompetent, or on the Tim Donaghy plan.
Yankees as a team have hit 2 for 11 with RISP and have left 10 men on base. A-Rod and Cano both left 5 men on. Just brutal. You are not going to win many games hitting like that.
not to mention swisher is an automatic out at home and molina is like have a pitcher bat 9th
It is a bad line for sure.
pete abe in disguise?
http://tinyurl.com/mmzmj4
looks like the ump is completely blind to the left side of the strike zone…i count 10 balls called strikes to the rangers and 5 for the yanks..but some of them are just terribly egregious (for the rangers)
damn robertson, i thought you had him KO’d
Man, Kinsler is killin’ us today.
It’s an illusion. As everyone knows, and says around here frequently, he’s nothing outside of Arlington’s band box.
.191/.257/.386
he’s not
That’s Melky like. That’s horrible.
I kinda think that’s a red herring. Sometimes you get weird splits for no reason other than randomness. Maybe he’s just having his bad at bats on the road.
That HAS to be the truth, at least partially. The park factor at Arlington is fairly big – 1.13, but this is nowhere nearl enough to explain Kinsler’s large home/road comparison.
He’s a good player, no matter where he plays.
It’s not just this year. For his career, his road OPS is .724, .204 points lower than his home OPS.
You can think whatever, but he absolutely sucks on the road this year
Well boys, thanks for showing up for last nights game. Your lead could be 5 by the end of the night and you have the White Sox coming to town with Joba pitching one game. Hold on to your lead, this could get interesting.
I agree…and it scares the hell out of me…
Our ‘pen blows a close game by giving up 4 runs in 2 innings. Maybe Joe G. should consider using Phil Hughes a bit more often.
Simply not possible. He can only pitch the 8th when we are leading or tied. /sarcasm
this ump sucks so much today
he refused to give AJ any calls, working his pitch count, and we had to go to the pen early
He was inconsistent and it’s hurt, but if we’re going to assign blame, we should be looking at the hitters and the bullpen.
Cano and A-Rod have really disappointed today.
with cano, i’m not disappointed. i’ve learned to expect him to fail nearly all the time with RISP.
agreed, but the ump is at least 1 percent responsible
Inconsistent? He lost focus once (umpires fault) which lead to a long inning. Aside from that he was pretty damn filty.
i think he meant the ump was inconsistent, which he was
It would be nice to see Cano actually run on that.
this game is hard to watch
Look on the bright side – those who wanted Molina instead of Posada got him and hopefully there will be a few who see the light from that group.
except, wait… No one wanted molina starting over posada. and hopefully jorge will be back soon.
Really? Because I’ve sure read and seen a lot of people saying that Molina should be CC’s and AJ’s personal catcher.
holy moly, I left after the 3rd and I come back and see we are down 7-2!!!
wow, Coke stunk today
Coke belongs in Scranton. He sucks
god why couldnt we see ace earlier
Because he has been crap lately. Phil Hughes should have been the one pitching in the 7th and 8th today.
But we used Hughes like 3 days ago.
I don’t know how Melky gets to those balls. It looks like he just crapped his pants and then starts running, hoping to contain it so it doesn’t spill down his leg.
So someone claimed Harden. Wonder who it is.
Probably Red Sox, no way Harden makes it past them
A lot of teams would claim him. Just about any contender. He is a good pitcher and a type A and his salary is 7 million so a raise wouldn’t even make him cost too much because he is good when healthy. While he is injured a lot, I could see a lot of teams claiming him including the Giants, maybe the Rockies, and AL teams like the Yankees, Red Sox, and others.
I doubt he made it past the NL.
Coke is really falling apart toward the end of the season. He has been decent not great throughout the season. I think Dunn and Kreonke should get a shot in September and again looked at in spring training and possible lefties to join Marte.
thank god we got marte back
he looks good
when you compare that to the terrible Joba plan, Arod winding down, Mitre/Gaudin as our 5th starter, and Posada out until God only knows…
Coke is the least of our worries…
Move the runners over by having Jeter bunt!
Jeter should have bunted, obviously. Hopefully Damon makes up for it now.
lol agreed
We have the terrible Joba plan unfolding before our eyes.
Arod is noticeably slowing down in all aspects.
Posada is now injured for who knows how long.
Our 5th starter is Sergio Mitre or Chad Gaudin.
I don’t like this one bit. The Red Sox are getting everyone back (Wakefield, Dice K, etc.) just as we’re having everybody seemingly go down.
This doesn’t look as good as it once did…
Calm down.
dude, you’re really overreacting. the yanks’ll be fine, just calm down
There are flaws on every team but it doesn’t mean the sky is falling.
I know. I worry too much. I just want everything to go back to the way it was!!! lol
A-Rod slowing down = .900 OPS.
this guy needs to step away from the crack pipe
U r one giant bag of pessimistic BS
agreed
I don’t understand, why aren’t they bunting…
Bah, Damon got lucky. Better have Tex bunt.
should have bunted
Start John Danks against the red sox today in fantasy?
No, because the White Sox are a bunch of bitches and won’t put up a fight.
but seriously, should i? i can’t afford any bad starts
The Red Sox don’t lose.
Except to good teams and on the road.
See, Tex should have bunted!
He should have swung the bat. Yeah, it was a tad low, but with two strikes you need to swing.
Mike is not in a good mood.
Instead of losing 2 out of 3, it should have been 2-3 us winning if not for stupid bunting.
The bunt on mom is indefensible
Now every body hates Phil Coke.LOve how everybody thought Bruney was our set-up man in April and May and Phil Coke was a set-up man in July and now people have said Robertson can be a set-up man.
DEal with it guys these guys in the pen expect Mo are long man relievers and journeymen.Even Phil Hughes needs 40 pitches to past a ininng.Thats why you don’t see him much.
Yankees dont lose alot, thats why we dont see you much
Coke has sucked all season
Robertson – non-long man prospect
Melancon – non-long man prospect
Phil Hughes – Starting Pitcher, don’t know where you get the 40 from
Phil Coke – orginally a starting pitcher, now a reliever
Bruney – Journeyman
Tomko – Journeyman
Edwar – Journeyman
Veras – now a Journeyman
Of the 4 journeymen
3 are not on the team
the one that is can throw 96 and has good secondary pitches.
Is English your 5th language? Tell me you’re a polyglot and just picked up English a few weeks ago.
Not meaning to personally attack you or anything, but a little proofreading goes a long way. People will actually give you serious responses.
Passing the baton.
alright

2 for 12 with RISP, 12 men left on base. Hard to win games when the offense sucks this bad.
still harder to win when the pitching stunk too
They let up 10 n 7 runs. Can’t win pitching like that
