  1. Salty Buggah says:

Damn, exactly as I feared, the Denver D is imploding.

  2. Salty Buggah says:

    get a DP Phil

  3. Reggie C. says:

Jets are gonna own the back page tomorrow unless the G-Men whallop the Skins later today.

  4. Dela G says:

just got back from the watch party (got too much hw to do)

man the jets are effing salty on defense

Kris Jenkins looks like reggie white or lawrence taylor today

  5. Mike Axisa says:

Phil Hughes looks rusty. Hmmm … I wonder how that happened.

  6. Reggie C. says:

Jets rush attack looks Giants-esque today.

  7. Riddering says:

I would purchase a DVD set filled with footage of Swisher in right field.

  8. Reggie C. says:

Hughes still pumping 95 mph FBs.

    Good sign.

    Pitch him 2 full innings?

  9. Salty Buggah says:

  10. Tom Zig says:

Take that Matt Wieters and your 78 OPS+

  11. Accent Shallow says:

Wieters is human! Wieters is human!

  12. Salty Buggah says:

OK, Denver D fail….I blame Orton for getting sacked as a FG would have made the game a 2-possession game

  13. Dela G says:

Sanchez will be the first rookie to win a road game since chris weinke in 2001…

  14. Dela G says:

    tex says.. “slump? what slump?”

  15. Salty Buggah says:

There ya go Tex…cmon Mr. Cleanup Ramiro Pena

  16. Mike Axisa says:

So they’re not going to bunt with Pena in this spot. Makes sense…

  17. Rocky Road Redemption (formerly RAB poster) says:

Adrian Peterson just basically ended my fantasy battle before it began.

  18. JGS says:

  19. Salty Buggah says:

  20. Dela G says:

  21. Rocky Road Redemption (formerly RAB poster) says:

Nice day for the Sayonara kid.

  22. Bob Stone says:

  23. Riddering says:

So I said, “C’mon, Hideki, hit one out of here” and then Kay called the hit right and my excitement was not for naught.

  24. Zack says:

    eddie royal = fail

  25. Mike Pop says:

These are the Yankees I like to see.

  26. Salty Buggah says:

Eddie Royal FAIL! Takes the kickoff about 6-7 yards deep in the endzone with 35 secs left and takes it out, only to slip and fall at the 12.

  27. Reggie C. says:

Orton is not gonna imitate John Elway.

  28. Reggie C. says:

    OMG !!!!!!!

  29. Dela G says:

    OH MY GOD!!

  30. Salty Buggah says:

OMFG!!!!!!!!!! Broncos luck out! WTF! UN fuckin believeable!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  31. Steve H says:

    Kyle Orton=Winning QB.

  32. BigBlueAL says:

I fucking love this new NFL Red Zone channel.

  33. Salty Buggah says:

Still cant believe that happened! I feel so good right now

  34. JMK says:

    The Bengals–masters of futility.

  35. Bob Stone says:

I’m really disappointed in the Rays. They certainly aren’t making it any easier for the Yankees to clinch the division. How could a team picked by so many experts at the beginning of the season to be in the playoffs or better run up a ten game losing streak.

At least they made it easier to win my bet with my sister, who roots for the Rays, for best record for the season. She paid me two weeks ago.

  36. Salty Buggah says:

    Broncos WIN!!!!

  37. Rocky Road Redemption (formerly RAB poster) says:

What did I just see in Cincy? Holy shit.

  38. Salty Buggah says:

  39. Bob Stone says:

Exciting finish to the Denver/Bengals game!

  40. Dela G says:

    puttin a hurtin on em!

  41. Drew says:

    Thought I’d chime in.

    Melky is good at baseball.

    Go Skins.

  42. Riddering says:

    Melky Clutch!

  43. Bob Stone says:

Now that Matsui took away the save situation, can we please see Hughes pitch the top of the ninth????

  44. Salty Buggah says:

Mo is a Broncos fan today

  45. Dela G says:

  46. Salty Buggah says:

Damn, that was a lucky it for Gardy but it was bad luck that it went in the stands.

  47. Riddering says:

Oh, Brett! The other centerfielder of my heart!

  48. Rocky Road Redemption (formerly RAB poster) says:

Tex has two hits today, including a double.

    Who’d a thunk it.

  49. Dela G says:

  50. Salty Buggah says:

Pad them stats Tex! 13-3…run diff going to be good

  51. BigBlueAL says:

Lead might be Bruney proof now.

  52. Riddering says:

Other teams must start sweating when they play the Yanks and the game reaches the 7th/8th inning.

  53. JGS says:

    John Sterling singing–

“Here comes Trembley, he’s going to the pen. Here comes Trembley, for an out he’s got a yen”

  54. Tom Zig says:

    Why bother taking him out?

  55. Tom Zig says:

According to Gameday, Meredith replaced himself twice

  56. Accent Shallow says:

I stopped watching the game, and the 8th isn’t over yet? Wow.

  57. Dela G says:

    lol kay you are slow

  58. Salty Buggah says:

    Pena with the hustle!

  59. JGS says:

I wonder if this team’s OPS in the 7th-9th is over 1.000 yet

  60. Riddering says:

Yanks trying to make up for all the 2-out runs they’ve given up.

  61. Bob Stone says:

Bruney for the 9th. I think he has enough runs to work with.

  62. Salty Buggah says:

damn, I really wanted a GS there

  63. alex gonzalez says:

odds of him issuing a walk with a 10 run lead?

  64. Reggie C. says:

    Manningham looks crisp.

  65. Dela G says:

well bruney starts it off in bruney fashion

  66. JGS says:

13-5 against Baltimore for the year is pretty solid

  67. Accent Shallow says:

Of course Bruney walks the leadoff man.

  68. Zack says:

i thought the saints rebuilt their defense? how can you let the Lions score 27 on you?

  69. Bob Stone says:

    Another walk – UGH!!

  70. Reggie C. says:

    GO FOR IT !

    C’mon Coughlin! Dammit!!

  71. Dela G says:

    good lord bruney sucks

  72. JGS says:

why are they taking him out?

  73. JMK says:

I tend to agree. Let Bruney figure shit out on the mound.

  74. Salty Buggah says:

    Pena isnt shitting at all.

  75. Tom Zig says:

I wish Edwar would rock the Duaner Sanchez goggles

  76. Reggie C. says:

Bruney struggling like this is gonna fuel the growing sentiment that he doesn’t belong on the playoff roster. Looking longer term , this team needs a better power righty than Bruney … especially with Hughes out the picture after the ’09 playoff run.

  77. Accent Shallow says:

    Edwar Ramirez: fireman

  78. Salty Buggah says:

    Magic Number = A-rod

  79. Bob Stone says:

Way to go Edwar. Bruney could have done that. He just needs to get his control back.

  80. MikeD says:

Every Yankee win is a good win.

  81. Salty Buggah says:

Is that his Walk-off against Bahston?

  82. Riddering says:

Well, it only took three innings for the Yanks to notice Girardi had been ejected and then get all offensively fired up!

    /ejection meme’d

  83. Dela G says:

    great win

  84. Bob Stone says:

I can’t believe that the Dodgers still have a larger run differential than the Yankees – 154 to 152. Although, that could change today as the Dodgers are losing to the Giants 2-0, but it’s only in the second inning.
