Molina is a good-fielding, no-hit catcher, a role that Cervelli can fill, and offer the potential to hit better, and do it for the MLB minimum.
Unfortunately, that won’t happen until next season. Molina will be on the playoff roster and Franco will not.
Cervelli shouldn’t start playoff games either.

Lefty, do you get upset when one of your pitchers beats a poor team? Doubtful, as they’re supposed to beat those teams and doing so, especially for a younger pitcher, helps build confidence. How many wins does CC have against poor teams and should those wins count any less towards his 19?
