"Minor league titles don’t tell you anything about what kind of prospects a team has.."

Well, clearly some truth to that, but I wouldn't go that far. Tough to win a title without at least some promising talent. May indicate, though, that talent is under-rated, especially where title teams don't seem loaded with touted prospects.

Overall, though, thanks for a great job on DotF. IMO, definitely what makes RAB a go-to site.

Thanks Mike, it really has been a blast. Well there goes my favorite part of the site for a few months. Oh well, I guess the rest is good enough to hold me over... lol

No idea. The Yanks have always been a very tight-lipped organization.

Why is that? The attendees are more than likely to be the top players of the organization that’s already known. Why not let your fan base know who to look for next year?

I am in agreement about the minor league titles, if you are stacking your system with lots of Josh Towers types. The "A" Ball titles are very different, seeing possible future YANKEES getting their feet wet, and getting used to winning. Besides, I would rather see the farm systems win then see anemic play,, with poor future prospects (Such as the Binghampton Mets (A prime reason why Tony Bernazzard, blew his stack, and got himself fired)).

I seldom comment here, but one thing I'd like to say is that, with the closure of Down on the Farm, for a month anyway, just reminds me how quickly this season has gone along.

It seems like just a week ago when the minor league season was beginning, and Down on the Farm commenced for another go-around.
