Now, this inning Girardi should have either stayed with Hughes or gone with Mo. Definitely not Joba- if anything Robertson since Joba can give you more innings if we go to extras. Girardi choked- he deserted his over-managing gameplan right when it made sense and allowed the Angels to get momentum. Hughes has been awesome all year- not like Joba. I’m not gonna dwell on one bad performance so far by Phil- he’s a superior option if not thrust into a bad situation with runners on base. Joe sux.
