Dunn finally throws some strikes

By Mike Axisa

Don’t miss our ALCS Game Five recap.

AzFL Surprise (3-2 win over Peoria Saguaros, walk-off style)
Colin Curtis: 0 for 2, 1 R, 2 BB, 1 SB
Mike Dunn: 1 IP, zeroes, 2 K, 0-1 GB/FB – all 10 pitches were strikes, a pleasant change for him … PitchFX says he was 94.61-96.6 with every pitch

Still no Puerto Rican League rosters.

Don’t miss our ALCS Game Five recap.

Or do miss it because who wants to relive that?

Salty Buggah says:

Miss it. I’m pissed/depressed about that loss because it was ours.

I’m still cracking up a bit at the fact that Mike got so pissed at the trolls and idiots during the final gamethread that he basically shut down the site for 10 minutes until the recap went up.

“Oh, you fuckers can’t stop screaming dumb shit? Then shut the hell up then. Go sit in the corner quietly while I write this recap.”

Salty Buggah says:

A world in which Dunn throws strikes is a world I want to really live in.

Andy in Sunny Daytona says:

Strasburg had a rude awakening to pro baseball today.

Accent Shallow says:

You mean he doesn’t throw 102 with a 94 mph slider?!

A.D. says:

At least 4 ks in 2.2 innings is something positive to take away.

That was a Brackman line. Holy crap.

Dax J. says:

Mike, the Puerto Rican league starts in November. That’s why there are no rosters available.
