interesting that porcello’s velocity was like that. I came to my realization in the earlier statement from one game i watched earlier in the season where he had 2 or so innings of 95, 96, 97 so i just kept that assumption.

I said “full start”. You are the one exaggerating. You know full well what I’m talking about. He’s going to the pen in the ALDS (if he makes the team at all — I’d send him to Tampa to stretch him out if I was NYY). He will not be in any shape to start in the ALCS

Game 1 is Wednesday, Game 2 is Friday. He can start Game 2 on regular rest.

Oops. Game 2 is Thurdsday, but still. We all know what’s up. The aged and eroding Pettitte will start Game 2 so that there is no risk of Burnett getting 2 starts in the first round.
