Not nearly enough of a sure-thing. They need stability in the rotation, with AJ being an injury risk, Joba and Hughes being young and probably inconsistent.

Frankly, I’d be hoping to retain Wang as the rehabbing ace-in-the-hole, Kennedy as the 6th starter, Gaudin at the 7th starter, ZMac as the 8th. Which means Andy or someone else solid as the reliable innings eater.

Yeah, the key will be if Pettitte returns. If he doesn’t, not sure you can go with CC, AJ + 3 “kids” (Joba, Hughes, IPK et al). Think we’d have to sign a veteran FA.

I think he’ll start out at SWB. With Phil and Joba in the rotation, I think we need some insurance/veteran guy like Andy. IPK will be great for depth though.

Hey Mike, 90-92 was his pre-surgery norm, right? Sounds like he’s all the way back to form.

Low 90′s + the rest of arsenal, is he a viable 5th starter for us next season or do you see him starting at SWB?

I’m lovin the K’s from Kennedy.

Even though he gave up a HR, I’m also enjoying the K’s and pitches for strikes by Dunn in the past 2 outings very very much.
