RAB chattin’ like it’s going out of style
ByI don’t know about you guys, but I’m much happier the morning after a Yankee win, especially in the World Series. Let’s talk about whatever is on your guys’ minds this afternoon – World Series, hot stove, prospects, whatever. See you at 2pm ET.
Also, don’t miss Joe’s Game Two recap at YES.

I found that Game 2 recap shallow and pedantic.
Mmm, yes, shallow and pedantic.
Do you guys have a new set up for the chat? I used to be able to view it at work but now it’s covered with a big advertisement that I can’t get around…and can’t see the chat. I wasn’t able to ever write anything but it was fun watching what people had to say…now I can’t even do that!
Yeah, same situation for me only its a black screen now. Very annoying I love the RAB chats
The answer to this and all of your problems is here:

Cant download it on a work computer.
OK, then first do this:

I love Brett Gardner and would like to see him play more-know it won’t happen this year. How do you think Hairston (a pinch runner himself) felt being pinch run for? Also, who plays RF next game?
That was pretty strange. Not sure why they ran Gardner for Hairston…but it is what it is. If that’s one of the major things we’re complaining about today…I’ll take it any day of the week.
Gardner’s quite a bit faster that J-Hair is. By a sizeable margin.
Also, at that point in the game, you’d begin to consider adding Gardner into the OF defense for LIDR purposes, so you might as well get him on the basepaths as well to maximize his utility.
True, but do you really think Girardi and company look at LIDR and UZR type statistics? After all, he has made some questionable moves in the past when looking at those stats…
True, but do you really think Girardi and company look at LIDR and UZR type statistics?
As a MLB manager, I sure as hell hope he looks at every stat available. How much faith he is willing to put into those stats is his choice, but he surely looks at them or at least should look at them.
Calling Jerry Hairston Jr. a “pinchrunner” is a bit of a stretch.
He’s only a pinchrunner during the times when the teams he plays for don’t have a real pinchrunner, like Gardner or Guzman, on their roster at the moment and he represents a marginal upgrade over some miscellaneous catcher or pitcher.
