ESPN mentions that the strategy is to neutralize the short porch. What they neglect to figure out is how good our true lefties (Matsui, Cano, and to a lesser extent, Damon) hit against LHP. Plus righties MURDER Joe Saunders. Jeter is one of the best in the game at hitting LHP, then we'll have all our switch-hitters batting righty. Here's a question: Will Joe try have Posada start Game 2 to gain another righty bat and an extra offensive advantage? That's what I would do.
