I don’t like that commercial, solely for the reason they knock XP. XP was a great OS which I still use
I had Vista, but my machine crashed entirely. Had to go back to XP to get it working again.
How old is your computer? I think it mainly has to do with age.
But regardless the reviews of Windows 7 says it’s much much better than Vista.
When it crashed, it was about 2.5 years old. I’m still on the same machine now, just running XP.
Windows ME and Windows Vista were nothing but beta-testing versions of Windows XP and Windows 7 (respectively) that Microsoft released to the public to move product and generate income.
I used to sell computers at Best Buy. We’d always ask people what system they were currently running when they came in. When they said they were running Windows ME, my guys would say “Sir/Madam, I feel obligated to tell you you should buy this computer as soon as possible, because Windows ME is, beyond the shadow of a doubt, the single worst piece of computer software ever known to man.”
The same could be said about 95 and 98. It seems like every other version of Windows is good.
I got it, people calling it “Vista done right” are on point. Not too many major improvements, but all the little things are much better
