2009 World Series Game Five chat reminder

By Mike Axisa

You guys know the routine, so I’ll spare you the shtick. See you at 1pm ET.

Oh, make sure you check out my Game Five recap at YES, as well as my short appearance on Drunk Jays Fans’ podcast. It was recorded Sunday night, so it might seem a little outdated, but you get to listen to me try to talk over those three drunken hosers, which is fun.

any of you guys see the New York when it came up the Hudson???

That gigantic cruise ship? No, but I saw something out it in the paper. That’s nuts. It’s got a nine-hole golf course on it.

Nah, it’s a new battleship featuring steel from the WTC.

Man, do I need a good ol’ fashioned chat to brighten my mood.

Does YES even have a postgame after the Yanks lose a playoff game? Not sure how anyone can stomach watching that.

I predicted Yanks in 6 and Mo as the MVP, so my prediction is still looking good, but I’m so disappointed they couldn’t finish it off in 5.

This team has been so good, that I’ve become spoiled.

One thing I always marveled at during the Yanks’ regular season was how they always managed to send the tying run to the plate, even in games where they had no business doing so. Last night was another example of just how great this team is. AJ and Coke shit the bed, and the Yanks still scratch out 6 runs against Lee and Madsen. Very impressive ballclub.

During the chat, can we get up a little collection? I’d like to send Pettitte this gift basket: http://bit.ly/6hTPt
