Wrong. People sit back and wait for me to write something that they can nit-pick apart…and strike like a cobra. Before people realized who I was…they were extremely polite and very cordial with me…then once one of you blew the whistle for whatever reason…things coincidentally became VERY different there-after. Had this same thing been written a while back when everybody thought I was a girl because of the name…people either A.) would have left it alone entirely, or B.) politely stated their case without calling me dishonest or anything else in the book.

But whatever. It’s over…and like everybody else in here…your perception of me won’t ever change either apparently. Oh well. Life goes on.

You didnt just provide info, you reached a conclusion that was impossible to reach based on the data. If you want to reach conclusions based on data that in no way supports your conclusion, that’s yours.

When I first heard the rumor, I figured that it had been taken out of context. I assume that the basis for any trade would have to include Hughes or Joba (or Montero). The Yankees made the decision that it was worth doing with either of them as the centerpiece and then the question was what else would they be willing to include, and it was at this point that Jackson got nixed. I don’t know if this is true, but it would seem to be more consistent with the team’s philosophy and could easily have gotten jumbled in the game of telephone that is hot stove rumors.
