He deserved it

By Joseph Pawlikowski

My father said many times that A-Rod would never win a title with the Yankees. At 4:11 EST on the morning of the Yankees’ 27th championship, I’d like to rub it in.

Did anybody see O’Neill after the game? He brought the magic!

Dela G says:

i’m wearing my yanks jersey to class tomorrow

Salty Buggah says:

Hell yeah! Me too! Can’t wait to get my championship gear

Ghost of Scott Brosius says:

Just did that-in philly. the stares of disgust make it even sweeter

dkidd says:

best locker room moment was job coming up behind damon and drunkenly saying “i love you”

Bob Stone says:

I commented on that earlier. I enjoyed it but I worry about it a little given Joba’s DUI conviction. I hope someone drove him home.

Salty Buggah says:

I am so happy for Alex (and myself and other Yankees/Yankees fans) for winning a ring.

Broke Yanks postseason RBI record, tied postseason HR record.

14 G 50 AB 13 R 18 H 5 2B 6 HR 18 RBI 10 12 1 .360 BA .484 OBP .820 SLG

+ 5(?) HBPs

Bob Stone says:

Curse of MT (from John Henry) and curse of ARod (from Larry Luchino) smashed. All because the Yanks spent $50,000 to dig up the Big Papi jersey buried during construction of the new stadium.

Thank God we’re not superstitious!

bkight13 says:

The curse of the GOP lives though. Yanks haven’t won with a Republican president since Eisenhower.

And my Baltimore friends insist it was the Mussina curse as well(revenge for jeffrey Maier)

Captain Bawls says:
