It’s different. In 2002, the Yankees WERE the better team and just lost in a short series. The 2009 Yankees have been the best team in baseball since May and far and away favorites to win the World Series. Thus, Rollins just sounds like a moron when everyone else in the baseball world knows the Yankees were the better team.
