Granderson to the Yankees?? Angels are inquiring about him for no reason like they usually do with outfielders they don’t need.

They’re starting to look like the Texas Rangers with their Outfield fetish…although the Angels have had one just as bad for quite some time I guess
I would imagine they are doing that because they do not want to resign Vladdy. Abreu would be the DH and Matthews would stay on the bench where he has been. It actually makes sense since Granderson is under a very affordable contract.
I guess. They probably could have gotten Abreu (as a full time DH) for cheaper then if this was their plan all along. But either way, I guess it works.
Would you guys like to see the Yankees go after Lance Berkman?
To be a full time DH?? The Astros would probably want to package him with Roy Oswalt too who isn’t bad…but in a decline and he’s never pitched in the AL, let alone AL East. You’d probably be better off keeping the prospects and re-signing Matsui on the cheap instead. Better bang for buck.

What would it take to get Josh Hamilton in Pinstripes? Perhaps Hamilton/Millwood for Hughes/E. Ramirez. Saves the Rangers $$ with Millwood and gets the Yanks a LF/CF to replace Damon.

Montero = too much, ….maybe include Cervelli. Do not forget the Rangers need $$ with the owner going broke, dumping a $12+ million #4 Starter is a good move.
