I think that Boras has backed himself into a corner regarding Damon staying with the Yankees unless Damon pulls an ARod and calls George to do a deal without Boras.

Two years is all we can possibly do for him. To begin with his play in the field is at best fair and going beyond two years would be signing on to a full time DH by year three for sure.

I love how everyone is freaking out from, and saying that the Yankees will have to pass on Damon because of this. Boras can say whatever he wants, it’s his job to get his clients the best deal they can. It doesn’t mean much though.
