NHL 2010 is outrageously sick. I could have NHL '10, The Bigs 2, and COD Modern Warfare 2 and be all set.

I've been dropping hints to my parents for about a month now. I can't bring myself to actually ask them for a PS3 when I'm 19, but if they do it themselves...sweet.

Baseball
(medium gap)
NCAA Basketball
NBA
(huge gap)
NHL
(large gap)
Football (pro and college)

I try every year to get into football, but I just don't find it as engaging. People say the playing field is so even in the NFL, but there's like 5 good teams and everyone else sucks.

The NHL is rising for me, also. I really like the young talent the Islanders have.

I'd have him #1 but I have a theory. He's as good a play caller now as he's ever been. Much like lets say John Woo were making a Samurai movie, and he cast John Goodman as a samurai. The movie bombs miserably. Is it John Goodman's fault? No, John Goodman is as good at playing a samurai now as he ever was. Which is not. So it would be John Woo's fault.

He's awful. If I can predict what play's coming next, you'd better believe that the defense knows.

Oh yeah, I remember hearing them a while ago and not really following up on it.

Lately, I've just been playing all the stuff I loved years ago that can never come back and that makes me realize I'll never feel the way I did about music then ever again. Awesome.

The order of blame in my humble slightly drunk opinion:

1. Jerry Reese: A lot of money was spent building depth at a position and more importantly a scheme that just has been awful. No depth at the secondary position, as nice a find as Bruce Johnson is even. LB's can't cover and don't seem to play the run well at all. The blitz is worthless right now, and left the Giants with no one that can defend the pass or anyone past the DL capable of making a tackle.

2. Kevin Gilbride: Offense is predictable and play calling in the red zone is an abortion.

3. Bill Sheridan: Sorry man. You inheritated the same team, but with supposedly an even better pass rush and the defense doesn't even remotely resemble what we've seen the last two years. That and the players don't seem to like you at all, and not in that Belichick "He's a prick but he knows what he's doing" way, more like the "Don't tell me how to do my job when you can't seem to do yours" way.
