His line this year was .290, .369, .498 but in AAA ball. I think he could be a productive hitter, but I don't think he'll reach Matsui's .274, .367, .509 in the majors for a full season. Russo's defense at 2B is not strong. Not much of a place for him as an infield backup only. I think Pena is far more versatile albeit with less offense. Love to see Nova earn a spot out of spring training. Finally, I am thinking of AJ as a right handed version of Carl Crawford at this stage of his development.
