Getting to know Curtis Granderson

By

It’s been hardly a week, but we’ve already heard about all the wonderful things Curtis Granderson does both on and off the field. Anthony McCarron profiled the Yanks’ new centerfielder over the weekend, writing about his children’s book, how he was still getting A’s and B’s as a double major while playing in the minors, the money he’s donated to charity, and plenty of other great stuff. Make sure you check it out, fantastic read.

  1. Drew says:

Hopefully he continues to do some work in Detroit. Lord knows that city needs it.

  2. Tank the Frank says:

That’s great. I really like smart, “heady” ballplayers. I think there really is something to that. Baseball is such a mental sport and it’s all about constantly making adjustments and thinking on the fly. It makes me believe he’ll be very receptive to everything KLong and the rest of the coaching staff will throw at him. He’s such a great fit for New York.

Imagine the Evil Empire employing two of the most loved baseball players in the game in Granderson and Swisher.

  3. DH=Dime a dozen says:

A-rod and World series MVP Kate Hudson have officially split. Expect a regression in Arods Clutch performances.

  4. Jai says:

Link? Because if that’s true, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alex try and off himself. Kate had the same effect on Owen Wilson after she broke it off with him, and his career’s gone down the shitter, too.

  5. Mike Nitabach says:

I’m really excited for Granderson to be a Yankee!!

  6. Yankeegirl49 says:

Nice to read about one of the good guys in the game, even nicer is that he is now one of our good guys.
