Leche had more personality than game but he had his moments and contributed to a world champion. Whatever happens from here, no one can take that away from him. Hope he has the breakout season in Atlanta that eluded him as a Yankee.

I agree with Crasnick. I think that’s exactly right. THe Sox rotation is better, but 3 of the 5 have serious injury concerns. If they miss time and the Yankee rotation stays healthy, then the Yanks should outperform them in the regular season. But in a short postseason series, they’ll have an edge most of the time.

man, that’s pretty much half of the 06-09 Yankee highlights. one can definately say that Vazquez is a dramatically less fun person than Cabrera.

Well, there is a big assumption here that Damon and Matsui will produce as much as they did this past season. We were all basically expecting Matsui to have a stint on the DL last offseason, but we lucked out. Damon wants the same amount of money that he got 4 years ago despite his horrific defense.
