Indian gruntwork >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> American ingenuity

Not true. It's just that in some (many?) cases, the Indian gruntwork is necessary to implement the American ingenuity (or at least implement it in a more expeditious and/or efficient manner).

Without the (American) ingenuity, the (Indian) gruntwork is, well, just gruntwork.

From the sourced article:

So, I started developing my own database, starting with 2009. It was a bear. Scouring the news sites and local papers for injury info is not fun...

So 2 months ago I asked some gentlemen in India to help me. Last week they blew me away, and delivered a pretty good data set of all players back to 2002.

I may or may not be said stat nerd but I'm most freaking definitely too lazy and disinterested to download and use this spreadsheet.

Hey Fangraphs.com/B-R.com, do me a favor and incorporate this data into your awesome sites so I can just look the shit up the easy way.

How many of you stat nerds are going to injure your mouse clicking finger by rummaging through that database? That's pretty cool.
