Gaudin catches on with Oakland
ByVia Ken Rosenthal, Chad Gaudin has reached an agreement with the A’s, just a few days after the Yankees released him. Gaudin enjoyed his greatest amount of big league success in with Oakland, posting a 4.42 ERA (4.69 FIP) in 34 starts back in 2007. It’s a shame the Yanks didn’t keep him for depth, and I’m not surprised he landed a new job before the end of the weekend. Oh well.

The Yanks have an embarrassment of riches right now. We simply drop legit AL starters while we relegate others to the 7th inning. And each move is kinda understandable and defendable.
It’s like Brett Tomko all over again.

Don’t get Mitre over Gaudin…
Neither do I.
Does anyone?
Probably not.
So this was a new deal, right? Once the Yanks cut him, his old deal expired.
So in the same week A’s have added 2 yankees rejects in Edwar Ramirez and Gaudin. I have a feeling they will have solid seasons just due to that very pitcher friendly ballpark there
I think mitre should of been cut….he has had TJS, even if he is one year removed from the surgery i don’t think he ever was better then Gaudin is
It still boggles my mind that the Mets were not even linked to talking to Gaudin….they are awful
