RAB Fantasy Baseball League (Part Six)
ByAlrighty, here’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The settings are exactly the same as before, so go to Yahoo and sign up using the League ID and password found here. The settings are exactly the same as the other leagues, and the maximum moves per week is set at eight, even though the screen cap of the settings say otherwise. Hopefully this takes care of everyone, six leagues is pretty insane.

I’d imagine this is the sort of thing that should just go in an open thread, I wouldn’t think the RAB guys would want to set up a thread just for us to be children and talk about our fantasy team names.

No… I backed out of Tier 1 and gave up my spot, then re-entered the fray when we created this relegation system. I’m in Tier 5.
Nifty. Who else is in Tier 5 of the regulars? I think Rebecca is.
No I think she’s in 4, maybe… I’m pretty sure she got into one of the tiers earlier than the one I got into, because we were kinda running this whole relegation idea by people that night before I entered the fifth tier and I think she said she was already in a league.
I’m in tier 5. I don’t know if I’m a regular, I’ve posted regularly for about 3 months.

Heh… For now can we preface the name of each tier with the number of the tier, or put the number in a parentheses after the name of the tier? Like… Tier 1: The RAB Premier League? or… The RAB Premier League (Tier 1)? Otherwise nobody’s going to know what the hell anyone’s talking about.

You know, with a relegation keeper league, the more initial participants we have, the better. There’s bound to be some attrition; perhaps we start with 7 full leagues/140 participants and then have plenty of wiggle room to drop down to 6 leagues/120 next year after people drop off.

Yeah… I’m totally fine with adding more teams and tiers, I just know some people are kinda getting wary of the size of the whole thing. I happen to not think the size is a concern, so I’m fine with it getting as big as is there is demand.

Noooooooooo, this is full too!!!
I’ve played in a few 20 team leagues for money, and my best advice to anyone is to reach for guys you think are undervalued because atleast at one point in the draft you are going to wait about 20-38 or so picks before getting to pick again. And positions fill up so quick, that people like Meche or Aubrey Huff actually have value.
But damn, I wish I could’ve joined one of these leagues. I always find out about it after its filled.
