Some of those doubles he hit in '06 would likely have turned into homers in Yankee Stadium. I don't have the park adjusted stats, but Giles' would have been worth it for the Yanks as long as he didn't get too many years in the contract. If not? He'd be easily replaceable in New York. That said, no doubt Damon was the better signing. I think that Giles would have actually done very well for a couple years in Yankee Stadium.
