Higashioka goes deep again in loss
ByTriple-A Scranton was rained out. Not sure when they’re going to make this one up, but Syracuse doesn’t come back to town until the end of May.
Double-A Trenton was rained out as well. They’ll make this one up as part of a May 22nd doubleheader.

5 K’s for Venditte in 2.1 innings? Encouraging.
Being put on the same plan as the top relief prospects? VERY encouraging!
/prepares to order Venditte shirt
Jose Ramirez, I think I love you.
Oh how did I forget. Yes I love me some Jose Ramirez. If all ends well this year he might end up being the top pitching prospect for the Yanks second only to Melvin.
(Comment removed by RAB editors: Melvin and second aren’t allowed to be in the same sentence)
Jose fucking Ramirez. Obviously more people know about him this season then last but Come summer time next year he should be the wave of all the talk!
Jose Ramirez is a beast.
I wonder how fast a climber Jose can be…
3 earned runs for Venditte in 2.1 innings? Not encouraging.
It’s one bad outing.
Do we know when the runs came? Did he just tire at the end or was he hit pretty hard throughout the outing?
I think he ran out of steam. He left with the bases loaded and Bartleski let them all score.
looks like they all came in the 9th
Jose Ramirez and maybe Higgy are probably the only players worth following at Charleston.
Soon to be Heathcott, and maybe (hopefully) Murphy.
…and Kelvin de Leon
In the immortal words of bexarama, “durrrrr.” Also, Stoneburner is there, and what’s Caleb Cotham up to?
So, enlighten me. Who is Jose Ramirez?
A 20-year old legit 3 pitch pitcher. Low to mid-90 fastball, very nice curveball and a plus change-up.
The guy we didn’t trade for Vazquez.
