Chavez strains back during rehab
ByEric Chavez strained his back rehabbing from his foot injury, a setback that will keep him on the shelf even longer than expected. It’s unclear when he’ll be able to come back now, it depends on the severity of the strain of course. Might be time for the Yankees to look for a left-handed hitter off the bench, no?

I LOLed but not funny.
That man just can’t avoid injuries.
Eric Chavez is the Bob Sanders of baseball.
Every commentator says “if he can just stay healthy!”
There is no way he can stay healthy. Which is a shame.
They already have a lefty on the bench, his name is Brett Gardner.
You SIR get to wear the DUNCE-CAP for today, now go sit in your corner and keep your hands where I can see them.
I was being sarcastic. I think Gardner’s as awesome as anyone, I probably overrate him if anything.
Of course he did.

Can’t say I wasn’t expecting another injury like this, but I really wanted to believe that he could hold it together being a bench player for the Yankees.
Genetics are a bitch.
Sob.
Poor guy can’t catch a break.
Actually – his problem is he catches too many breaks.
Hideki Matsui.
Okay he hasn’t been great this year but you try hitting in that park,Get Matsui here and he’ll be a good left handed hitter in Yankees Stadium.
TROLL!!!!!
Amazing how he sold us all in ST.
Shocker!
