CC Sabathia named AL Pitcher of the Month
ByMLB announced today that CC Sabathia has been named the American League’s Pitcher of the Month for July. Sabathia allowed just four runs in five starts last month (39.2 IP), striking out 50 batters while putting just 31 on base (18 hits, 13 walks). One of those walks was intentional too. Congrats, CC.
