Triple-A Scranton had their doubleheader with Syracuse rained out. They’re not scheduled to play them anymore this season, so there’s a pretty good chance they won’t make these games up at all. Meanwhile, David Phelps will return from his rehab assignment and start on Saturday.
Both Double-A Trenton and High-A Tampa had scheduled off days. In fact, their entire leagues were off.
Short Season Staten Island is off until Wednesday for the All-Star Game, which will be played tomorrow. Four Yankees farmhands were named to the AL squad.
