Here come the Tigers; Yanks get Detroit in ALDS

Thanks to Mike Napoli’s two-run homer in the top of the ninth against the Angels (hah!), the Rangers have clinched the second best record in theĀ  American League. That means the Yankees will face the Tigers in the ALDS, a rematch of 2006. Game One starts at 8:37pm ET on Friday night, CC Sabathia vs. Justin Verlander. Fun fun fun.

Yankees had no problem with Verlander, Fister, or Scherzer this year, I’m not worried.

So looks like we’ll have to hope the Yanks make it to the ALCS for us to see Jesus’ first post season start.

Upsetting, but I’m ecstatic that it was Mike Napoli that did the job. Jeff Mathis (shakes head).

If you are the alpha then you don’t worry about match-ups, you just beat whoever is put in front of you.

Do you think Conan the Barbarian watched the other fights and rooted for a more favorable opponent when he fought as a slave?
