- The Rangers are reportedly prepared to throw a boatload of cash at CC Sabathia once he exercises his opt-out clause, and Sabathia’s agent said there was nothing new to report about an extension with New York. Joe Girardi indicated during his end-of-season press conference that the team’s priority this offseason will again be pitching.
