This isn’t directly related to the Yankees, but former farmhand Breland Brown got busted trying to scam his way into the Australian Baseball League this winter. The Yankees signed him last offseason, but released him during Spring Training. Pretty crazy.

Hard-throwing Grant Duff has re-signed with the Yankees after becoming a minor league free agent at the end of the season. He’s been battling arm injuries for a few years ago. Also, David Phelps was named the Arizona Fall League Pitcher of the Week last week.

DWL Licey (10-9 win over Toros)

Wasn’t this Noesi’s first start since getting married? If so, there’s his excuse. haha.

    • CANO FAN #1

      Good point

Jorge Vazquez update in MexPac Lg. He is leading all the Caribbean Leagues in HR and RBI’s. Is hitting .452 5hr and 12rbi in his last 7games. Also for the season so far he is hitting .471 with runners in scoring position. Yeah, he is terrible!! Keep swinging Chato, someone smart will give you a chance.

    • Tom Zig

He’ll be 30 next year. and put up a .314 OBP in AAA last year. He’s Shelley Duncan. Actually, no he’s worse. Shelley Duncan actually walked a bit when he was in AAA.

      • YANKZ1FAN

Gee, I guess your right, and Cano sucks too then!!!!! I do know that he led the Int lg in HR and broke the franchise record with 32 in 118 games. No…. He doesnt deserve a chance. He crushes no matter where he is. Instead of you deciding, why dont you let his bat decide for you with a shot!!!! Do you hear that Yanks front office!!! He will hit 35hr and 100rbi in his sleep. And,Shelly Duncan is a pull only hitter. Jorge is a pure hitter to all fields with insane power. Havent you seen the difference in your expert analysis? They are totally different hitters. And he will be thirty!?! So what, he is in his prime now!

You know nothing about baseball if you think Vazquez could hit 35 hrs and 100 rbi in the major. But continue with your imagination, it’s amusing.

    Here’s another quiz:

It’s the Mitchell Report, name every player listed in the Mitchell Report. I’m not going to begin to try it, but just thought I’d pass it along.

      Shit wrong thread.

Fun little game. I was only able to come up with 20 though. Then when I saw the rest of the names, there was a few I should have known. And a bunch I had no idea about.
