Chilly Friday Night Open Thread
ByWe had some flurries earlier today, but now it’s just brutally cold and windy. Definitely not baseball weather, but we’ll get there eventually. If you’re like me and are staying inside so you don’t have to put on pants brave the cold, use this thread to talk about anything your heart desires. The Nets are the only local club in action though, so I hope you have something good on Netflix. Have at it.

Wow the possibility of that is actually very worrisome.
I mean, Pineda is a really good young pitcher, but I’d rather have Montero.
No I get you but young pitching is so unpredictable even if you have one good year. Top hitting prospects succeed at a much higher rate. Even with no position I’d take Montero instantly.

Felix rumors are not really “baseless” I think Jack Z is crazy not to trade Felix. He’s expensive, the team stinks, they can’t sign Prince Fielder and the Angels and Rangers are way out of reach for the M’s

The Yanks need to ad a DH, even if it’s just a Damon type (Pena would be my preference). Andruw will be more than fine against lefties but Vs. righties, Martin, Jeter, Chavez/Nunez = Black Hole.
