Segedin goes deep again in Tampa loss


Based on his Twitter feed, Slade Heathcott swung a bat today for the first time since having his second left shoulder surgery last year. He’s scheduled to return in June.

Triple-A Empire State was snowed out. Yes, snowed. There’s going to play a doubleheader at some point in the future. Both Double-A Trenton and Low-Charleston has scheduled days off.

      I say no too. It’s unfortunate, but he’s had a lot of shoulder surgeries to overcome. I wish the best for the guy, but I doubt he makes it.

    Pinder ain’t messing around. Hopefully Segedin gets promoted to AA this year, try to get him back to a more age-appropriate level. They should start playing him in the corners, and maybe at second, to increase his value, if he has those defensive capabilities.
