Make sure you check out this OF Mason Williams interview with Next Level Ballplayer. He talks about adjusting to life in pro ball, the improvements he’s made to his swing and approach, and lots more. Well worth your time.
Also, RHP Kevin Whelan has been placed on the DL for an unknown reason, hopefully it’s nothing serious. The Yankees signed OF Billy Hart and immediately placed him on the DL. I’m assuming this is him, though that’s not the most uncommon name in the world.

High-A Tampa had their doubleheader rained out. One of the games was supposed to be the completion of yesterday’s game, which was suspended due to rain. That one will be completed tomorrow afternoon. The second game, tonight’s regularly scheduled contest, was cancelled and will not be made up.
And just because I know you’re all wondering, both Short Season Staten Island and the Rookie Level Gulf Coast League Yankees start their seasons on June 18th. That’s not next Monday, it’s the Monday after.
