In his fourth appearance with the Rookie Level GCL Yankees, left-hander Pedro Feliciano retired all three batters (two ground balls, one fly ball) in a scoreless inning this afternoon. The 35-year-old was originally scheduled to pitch for High-A Tampa last night, but the game was rained out. It would have been his first appearance outside of rookie ball and also his first on two days’ rest. All of his other appearances have come with three days of rest. Feliciano figures to sit for another two days before making that elusive first appearance at a higher level. He remains on schedule to join the big league bullpen in the middle of September.
