Still bummed that the Yanks are satisfied with the current catching group they have. None is a starter.

  Yeah, you can argue they should’ve re-signed Martin, and I agree. But obviously someone in the organization wouldn’t allow the $ to be spent to make that happen.

  Cervelli/Stewart are pretty bad but where is the legitmate “starter” out there to replace them? Hint: it wasn’t career backup Kottaras.

  I’m not trying to attack you personally with this post, sorry if it comes off that way. I’m just sick of hearing everyone complain about how shitty the catchers are. We get it, they’re lousy, but they’re what the Yankees have right now. There’s nobody better floating around for the Yanks to just snatch up.

  On his ESPN chat today, Cashman said something like “if we are able to retain Canzler”

  I could be reading too much into that, but it seems like you are correct.

  Canzler is making the roster of of spring training as the righty OF platoon. Somebody else will have to get the boot for Hafner
