Mariano Rivera formally announced that he will retirement from baseball following the 2013 season earlier this morning, and while I liveblogged the press conference, I figured a bunch of you would want to see the thing yourself. Mo is a few days older than me. I hate every one of these older guys retiring but this one really hurts.

Andy could very well be joining Mo on a farewell tour this season. Very sad to see Mo go. The greatest closer ever to play the game and first ballot hall of famer!
