A-Rod doubles in latest minor league rehab game

In his latest minor league rehab game with High-A Tampa, Alex Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a double to center, a walk, and a strikeout. He also reached base on a fielder’s choice when the right fielder muffed a catch and got the force out at second. A-Rod played the entire game at DH after playing seven innings in the field yesterday. He is scheduled to continue his rehab with Double-A Trenton tomorrow. Alex’s 20-day rehab window expires one week from today.

Hopefully the double was hit solidly. If so, it may have been the first solid hit in the air during his rehab. Hopefully that’s a good sign that he’s starting to get his timing and swing down.
