Granderson reaches base three times in latest rehab game

Looking at the remaining 2013 schedule
Yankees make no deals prior to trade deadline

In his latest minor league rehab game with Double-A Trenton this afternoon, Curtis Granderson went 1-for-3 with two walks and a strikeout. He singled to left on a jam shot and flew out to center. Granderson played the entire game at DH, and there’s a good chance he will join the Yankees when they open their series against the Padres in San Diego. That is not yet official, however.

Get him to the west coast, though shame he can’t play 3B

Excellent, because I too plan to join the Yankees when they open their series against the Padres in San Diego.

Ok Mike, you got me ! You did your famous, “head-line, syke” routine. “Reaches base three times” ! Ok, what did he do ? Did he homer twice and a double ? I know, I know, a single, double, homer, and was a triple away from the cycle, right ? No, none of that. He had a “bloop” and two walks ! You got me Mike.
