It’s been a while since I’ve updated the standings, so let’s do that now. The minor league season is over in about a week anyway.
Triple-A Scranton (5-4 loss to Rochester) 65-71 and they’ve already been eliminated from postseason contention

- RF Ramon Flores: 3-5, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 HR, 3 RBI — five homers in his last five games … nine homers in only 60 games this year, his career high is eleven in 125 games back in 2011
- 2B Rob Refsnyder: 2-4, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 BB, 1 K, 1 SB — 14-for-37 (.379) in his last ten games
- 1B Kyle Roller: 2-3, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 K

Double-A Trenton (7-3 win over Harrisburg) 64-70 and they’ve already been eliminated from postseason contention

- LF Ben Gamel: 0-4, 1 BB, 1 K
- 1B Greg Bird: 0-3, 1 RBI, 2 BB — 13.4% walk rate this year after a 18.7% walk rate last year
- DH Dante Bichette Jr. & RF Mason Williams: both 1-4, 1 R — DBJ struck out and Williams committed a fielding error
- RHP Luis Severino: 2.2 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K, 2/1 GB/FB — 35 of 57 pitches were strikes (61%) … he’s coming back from the oblique injury and the season is almost over anyway, so he’s probably on a strict pitch limit

High-A Tampa (5-1 win over Dunedin) 68-65 overall and 35-28 in the second half, leaving them 2.5 games back of a postseason spot

Both Rookie GCL Yanks affiliates had their regularly scheduled Sunday off-day. The GCL Yanks1 are 34-21 with a one-game lead in the Northwest Division. Their magic number is four. The GCL Yanks2 are 33-23 with a 1.5-game lead in the Northeast division. Their magic number is three. They have the two best records in the league.
