Got a slew of roster moves to pass along, courtesy of Nick Flammia, Matt Kardos, and the River Dogs:
- LHP Matt Tracy, RHP Joel De La Cruz, and OF Taylor Dugas were all demoted from Triple-A Scranton to Double-A Trenton. OF Ramon Flores and UTIL Jose Pirela are joining the roster.
- OF Mark Payton, LHP Eric Wooten, RHP Chris Smith, and RHP Alex Smith were demoted from Double-A Trenton to High-A Tampa. Tracy, De La Cruz, Dugas, and the recently signed RHP Sergio Santos will fill those roster spots, plus 2B Joe Renda is on the way.
- LHP Conner Kendrick, RHP Angel Rincon, and RHP Phil Walby were demoted from High-A Tampa to Low-A Charleston. Those roster spots are for Payton, Wooten, and the Smiths.
- RHP Manolo Reyes, RHP Luis Cedeno, and RHP Yoel Espinal were demoted from Low-A Charleston to Extended Spring Training. Those are the Kendrick, Rincon, and Walby roster spots.
Triple-A Scranton (9-2 win over Rochester)

- C Austin Romine: 1-3, 1 RBI
- CF Ben Gamel: 0-4

Double-A Trenton (6-0 win over Erie)
- CF Jake Cave: 2-4, 2 R
- RF Aaron Judge: 2-4, 1 R, 1 3B, 1 RBI, 1 K
- DH Greg Bird: 2-4, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 K — eleven doubles in 31 games
- 1B Eric Jagielo: 2-4, 1 RBI — third game of the year (and his career) at first base
- C Gary Sanchez: 0-0 — left the game after taking a foul tip to the hand in the first inning … Nicholas Stellini says x-rays came back negative and Sanchez has a deep bruise
- RHP Kyle Haynes: 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, 1 HB, 9/2 GB/FB — 47 of 77 pitches were strikes (61%) … I wonder if he’s starting because he added a third pitch, he was a fastball/slider/bad command guy before this year, and that doesn’t exactly scream starting pitcher candidate
- RHP Sergio Santos: 1 IP, zeroes, 2 K, 1/0 GB/FB — eight of 13 pitches were strikes … Nick Peruffo says he hit 91 a few times, which isn’t exactly encouraging
- RHP Johnny Barbato: 2 IP, zeroes, 1 K, 4/1 GB/FB — 15 of 22 pitches were strikes (68%)
- RHP Mark Montgomery: 1 IP, zeroes, 0/2 GB/FB — seven of 15 pitches were strikes … finished off the one-hitter

- 2B Abi Avelino: 1-3, 1 R, 1 K, 1 SB, 1 E (fielding)

- SS Tyler Wade: 1-3, 2 K, 1 SB
- DH Miguel Andujar: 0-3, 1 RBI, 1 K — hasn’t had a multi-hit game since May 14th
- CF Michael O’Neill: 0-3, 2 K
- LHP Jordan Montgomery: 7 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, 9/4 GB/FB — 65 of 87 pitches were strikes (75%) … 66/12 K/BB in 57.1 innings
