- LHP Caleb Smith: 1 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, 1/1 GB/FB — 20 of 31 pitches were strikes (65%)
High-A Tampa (12-2 win over Jupiter)
- SS Jorge Mateo: 2-4, 2 R, 1 3B, 1 K, 1 SB — he came out of the game after running the bases in the seventh inning, though I’m pretty sure it was only to get him off his feet in the late innings of a blowout
- 2B-SS-2B Abi Avelino: 3-4, 2 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 K
- 3B Billy Fleming: 2-4, 2 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB
- DH Miguel Andujar: 2-5, 2 R, 1 RBI, 1 K — have to think he and Mateo will be in Trenton at some point soon
- RF Austin Aune: 2-5, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 2 K — the perfect Austin Aune game
- RHP Chance Adams: 4 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 6/2 GB/FB — 46 of 80 pitches were strikes (58%)
Low-A Charleston (1-0 win over Columbia) a win at every level always makes for a good day
- 2B Thairo Estrada: 2-4, 2 SB — 11-for-22 in his last five games
- DH Hoy Jun Park: 0-3, 1 BB, 2 K
- 3B Angel Aguilar: 0-4, 3 K
- SS Kyle Holder: 1-3, 1 R, 1 2B
- RF Leonardo Molina: 1-3, 1 RBI — went 0-for-6 in his first two games here, and has gone 11-for-31 (.355) since
- LHP Nestor Cortes: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 12 K, 1/3 GB/FB — 52 of 80 pitches were strikes (65%) … I’m pretty sure 12 strikeouts is the high in the farm system so far this season … he has a 23/3 K/BB in 16.2 innings so far
